Interesting stats about Ray's clutch 3 point shooting

FLASHBACK: Ray Allen is now 2-3 on go-ahead 3-pt FG with 24 seconds or less remaining in the 4th quarter or overtime in playoff games since joining the Celtics in 2007-08. Rashard Lewis is the only other player with two such makes. Allen hit a similar shot in the Celtics' epic 7-game series with the Bulls in 2009. His shot was the game-winner in Game 2.

Ray Allen has done this before... Counting the regular season and playoffs, Allen has now made seven go-ahead 3-pt FG in the final 24 seconds of the 4th quarter or overtime, the most in the NBA. He is shooting nearly 54 percent on such attempts.

I think the difference between Kobe and Ray is Kobe gets the ball, and isolates and makes ridiculous shots, much like Pierce.  Ray is more of an off ball clutch shooter, that gets open looks and drains them, where as Kobe almost always has a hand (or two) in his face.

I misread the "clutch" definition". I was thinking it was up or down 3 points.

That '09 Bulls-Celtics series was a perfect example of Ray making clutch shots off the dribble when KG was injured for the playoffs. But he's the 3rd option, so he just doesn't have that luxury
