Some interesting things here. A few adjustments I'd consider:
Limit PP's minutes in the 1st half by bringing in Green early. Green showed he can guard Melo competently, and it would save PP's legs for the 2nd half/4th quarter.
Ray, I don't know. Yeah, big shot and all that, 24 points, but he is completely dependent on others right now. That's not starter material to me. I love W. Ray Allen, but it's getting harder to watch him play...or rather it's harder to watch the team spend almost the whole possession trying exclusively to get him a shot, and ending up with a crappy BBD move.
Speaking of BBD, when is his contract up? He sure does call his own number a lot once he gets the ball, and took A LOT of bad, bad, forced shots. But he sure seems to know where to be to get the ball...
JO looked good, as did Delonte. If only their health was reliable.
BBD...minutes should come down. This is the series to play Green and KG together at the big spots and ATTACK.
Ronnie Turiaf is tougher than most players on our team. Fortsonesque, but with some rudimentary skills, too.
With your first couple points I thought Doc did a good job of taking Ray out early in the first putting in Green, Pierce basically played the whole first, then they put Ray back in there to start the second with Green. I liked that rotation.
Ray in this game showed me he is not totally dependent on others like you said. He had some beautiful drives most noticeably in my head was the little head fake at the 3 and a very nice lefty drive to the hoop. He had many drives in this game and the conventional 3 point play in the second half really helped.
Baby's minutes should come down but I really don't want to see Green play the 4. You also had JO in foul trouble, Krstic may be a little hurt ( I don't think he played in the second half) so again their hand is kind of being forced to play Baby alot of minutes. If we stretch a lead say in the first half I wouldn't mind throwing Murphy out there for a few minutes to see what he does. I think he could help.
