Nope no reason for any of those guys to get playing time. If everyone's healthy no one you just mentioned should get any playing time in the playoffs. Unless it's a blowout. A playoff rotation is supposed to be 8-10 players.
1. Rondo
2. Allen
3. Pierce
4. Garnett
5. Shaq
6. Davis
7. JO
8. West
9. Green
10. maybe Kristic (but i'm sure he'll be first before anyone you mentioned)

This. I think Krstic is a given, since Shaq and JO aren't going to combine for 48 minutes every game.

I feel like Rip Van Winkle; is it 2012 already?  If not, Bradley doesn't belong anywhere near a playoff rotation.

If anybody insists on evaluating players based upon meaningless garbage games, though, I'd point you to the Wizards contest.  There, Bradley managed 0 points, 0 assists, 0 rebounds, 0 steals, 0 blocks, 0% FG% (0-for-1), 1 turnover, and 3 personal fouls in six minutes.  Pavlovic wasn't much better.

On the season, Bradley averaged 1.7 points on 34.3% shooting.  On a per-minute basis, he led the team in turnovers and was 6th in personal fouls.  He's not ready yet.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Too many facts, Roy.  Not healthy.

Bradley should not see court time during the playoffs. Though he may have played well against the NY scrubs, does anyone remember his deer in the headlight performances against all other teams??

Also in Wizards game...Bradley in 6 minutes was -22. Coincidence?

Let me ask you this... If it came down to Arroyo playing some minutes or Bradley, who would you rather have??? Personally I like the energy and defensive ability Avery brings rather than the slow and old washed up Arroyo.

Sorry but there's a reason Miami benched him, his ball handling has declined along with his quickness which was his ONLY advantage when he was any good.

I see Avery Bradley being a Tony Allen type, maybe if we make it to the Bulls and we need someone to D up D-Rose if Delonte is having health issues.

Either way if all goes well NONE of the guys listed in this post will get any quality minutes. Doc already announced his anticipated depth chart if all everyone is healthy.

Rondo/West
Ray/West
Paul/Green
KG/Baby
Shaq/JO/Kristic

Three guys don't dress Bradley is the only absolutely will not dress--aside from injuries of course.  Other 2 could easily be Sasha and Von Wafer.

Well, a lot of people referred to last night's game as a D-League game that meant nothing, but they also seemingly overlook that the Celtics starters have been playing like a D-League squad a number of times for like the last month or so or more, struggling to score the ball time and time again.

So, we shouldn't exactly brush off the team's ability to score the ball last night.

I would like to see Wafer have a run in the playoffs myself. I like the energy he brings when he plays with some of our big 3, plus he's stretching the floor well, something we're lacking for some reason.

Wow what a prisoner of the moment I think Von Wafer should get the 12th spot along with his 14 points last night he had 6 rebounds and 5 assist his penetration and slashing is better then Sasha

i could see the case for having bradley on the playoff roster. in an ideal world, he would be used on the last possession of each of each quarter (except the 4th) to defend whoever the ballhandler is (billups, dwade, rose, etc.). other than that, id see no purpose for him.

altho i think wafer is better than sasha, against the knicks, id give the nod to sasha simply because he is bigger and has a better chance of guarding melo than wafer. against miami, i think we might need sasha and wafer simply because of potential foul trouble lebron and dwade could cause.

Too little too late now.  Bradley's not ready and doesn't have enough poise or confidence to handle Playoff basketball.  If he was played more minutes this season at the 2 instead of the 1 it could be different.  He's young but he really never was given an opportunity and on this team he really was in tough getting into the rotation. I just hope he's given a significant role next season so we can really see what he's capable of.  He and Rondo could be a nightmare for opposing PGs.  They could pester teams nicely..   Hopefully he can get 20mins a game next year to develop.  I think next year Doc needs to keep the starters minutes down in the low 30's like he has done for KG.  No need to worry about seeding not with this team as presently constructed.

I know this isn't the time but it is fun to project.

JO 25mins   -23
KG 30mins   -18
Green 32 mins  -16
Pierce 30 mins  -18
Rondo 33 mins   -15     Total 90 minutes for the bench

Bench
allen 24
Bradley 20 mins
Dwest 20 mins
Kristic 14 mins
Murphy 14

2 others to be determined.
Defensive Center/rebounder, and a wing shooter/ or defender.

Playoff minutes and combos

With all the off days Kg's minutes will go up a tick and you can expect Rondo, Allen and Pierce playing just around 40.  If they get control of the series I hope Doc's works to keep them fresh as they will need to have their legs for Miami and Chicago if they get there.  Last year the Celts looked really worn out in the later stages of the Lakers series.

I think the shortened bench is actually much better than years past as each player is playoff tested and can play 2 positions.  DWest is gritty and poised.  He will provide some of the intensity we got from TAllen last year.  I see J Green getting better as the playoffs continue as he is getting more and more comfortable with his role and the celts defense.  Baby is baby and always proven to be clutch.  Plus if his minutes can be kept to low 20's he can provide the scrappy intensity and spark he's good at.  JO can spell Shaq and even KG for a short spurt.

I think we are in great shape and the Knicks are the best first round opponent we can face. Celts offence has been ranked close to dead last the last month and half.  The Knicks inability to defend could help get the celts offense rolling again...

Shaq 22 minutes  (hopefully)  -26
KG  36 mins                   -12
Pierce 38-40mins              -10
Allen 38 mins                 -10
Rondo 40 mins                 -8
                        total -56 Bench minutes
Bench
green  20  (3/4)
Dwest  14  (1/2)
Baby   18  (4/5)
JO     4-10 (5)

I agree this is the rotation.  Those other guys play only if there are injuries or blow outs.

Pavlovic probably has the best chance of getting some time, especially if Pierce gets in foul trouble.  But I'd just give all those minutes to Jeff Green.

I'm not saying Pavs is a star or anything but of all the people you say may be inactive he has the most playoff experience! I have seen him play before last nights game a few times... he is a good defender and he can hit the open shot... but like Doc said, he is a confidence player. I think he should be in but who will sit instead? Doc won't sit Murphy (he has started to round into shape and he is insurance... may have to play first few if Shaq can't go)... I actually want Doc to sit Arroyo over Pavs, but you can't with DWest's staying healthy issue.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)
