With HCA advantage hanign in the blance against teams like Miami, Lakers, OKC, Dallas, etc...why wouldn't you at least try to get the home court with these last few games?

I mean, if we win out and maybe these other teams lose a game or two - we'd have it against the Lakers and the heat -  isn't it important? I'm mostly concerned about having it against the Lakers.l

Or do you guys feel like it doesn't matter with this group? That may be valid given last year's performance - but if I have a shot at getting HCA against the lakers and Miami, I think I'm going for it.

Is more rest that important?

Your thoughts...

Yea, we've proven we can win games in LA and LA can win games in Boston. I think health is the most important factor.

just as an example lets say HCA gives you a 10% better chance to win. Health basically gives you a much higher percentage chance of winning
Andy Bernard doesnt lose constests. He wins them, or he quits them because they're unfair.

Then again with the C's liking to drag every series out to 7 games thus tiring us out and injuring us even more maybe we should have gone for HCA :P

Well HCA in the Finals isn't as important as health and getting there.

Yes, I agree with you and understand why the celtics did it. It just sucks because we're sooo close to the lakers now and so many of our recent losses were by less than 5 points :P

It's like ARGH they didnt even have to break thier back for a matter of games, it was mere minutes. But I dont think anyone planned on the lakers tanking the way they did, and they probably shut it down before they started losing. Oh well. No sense crying over spilled milk I guess. It's heartbreaking watching games in LA tho, those fans are just like us, they get into it and make it hard on the opposing team. (once they finally show up, anyways)

We are already guaranteed to not have homecourt against either of those teams.
