Kind of strange that we've heard absolutely nothing about Delonte. To anyone who actually saw the injury, did it look bad? Hopefully he'll be good to go for the playoffs.

What is there to hear?  He has a sprained ankle.  I don't think there was any plans on an MRI or anything.  All indications are that he will not play tomorrow, but they expect him back for the Knicks series, but when in the series will depend on how he heals over the next few days.

I thought I read in a thread that they wouldn't have an update before tomorrow.

Just wondering if he needed an x-ray or anything. Normally I would be okay with the sprained ankle diagnosis but it is the same ankle with the bone chip

Isn't it funny just how extremely paranoid Celtic fans are because of our history of injuries.

Or because of Delonte's laundry list of injuries this year?

his ankle has been giving him problems. this is not a big deal. doc decided to not chance any further damage and decided to pull him. he will be back next week when it matters.

I am not sure how much of a choice Doc had last night.  He did not look like he could play through it.

oh I know he looked real hurt but I thought I saw Doc talk to trainer afterward suggesting him not to come out. but who knows. hopefully it's not very serious. hopefully a week will do it good.

It doesn't help when your color commentator feels the need to tell the audience about every little thing and it almost always ends up being absolutely nothing; "And Rondo is flexing his hand on the bench right now", or "I'm looking at Ray and he's wincing a bit after that foul". Really gets on my nerves and it contributes to fan paranoia

One of these days, I swear I'll see something like this in the box score:

D. West, DNP-Spontaneous Combustion

Just a pile of ash on the bench, a headband, and a couple of high-tops.

Wait wait wait. Does that come from a real doctor or Celtics medical personnel?

This was written on 4/8/11.  Oh well, we can only hope that Delonte comes back like how he was playing in the Wizards game.
