Minnesota trying to not make the same mistake twice?

Earlier today, we pointed out an aspect of the Vikings stadium bill that would require the franchise to leave the team name, logos, colors, records, and trophies in Minnesota, if the team ever moves.

Looks like Minnesota is tired of the Lakers in LA claiming the numerous championships they won in Minnesota as their own.

It'd eat away at me if I was a Timberwolf fan and I had to see Johnny Flynn's numbers go up to the rafters in some other city.

I'm a vikings fan, but I have to ask what trophies :'(

I guess if the bill passes and they get a new stadium they expect to have trophies over the next 20 or so years when the new stadium is old and needs to be replaced and the team is looking to move again. As a vikings fan and as history has shown.... that might be wishful thinking!
