Poll: With Dolante out, How crazy will Rondo's minutes get?

With Dolante out, and Doc's notorious distrust of reliable backup pgs...even with experienced Carlos Arroyo available, I am afraid Doc will ride Rondo even harder.....

Meh, with Delonte out, I see Rondo getting 38-42 minutes per game. But Delonte is going to be back, so I'm not worried.

whats the status on West injury....how long is he going to be out....hopefully he only misses the game on Wednesday.

It's the playoffs; there will be no minutes restrictions on Rondo; so not exactly sure what the point of this thread is.  It's all out from here until June.

I see West subbing for both Rondo and Ray, not just a direct substitute for Rondo only.  So they will share minutes rather than take away from each other.  That is unless Wafer convinced Doc to give him some minutes at the 2.

Rondo would play 40 minutes a game regardless of Delonte's health.  Arroyo will get the leftover minutes until Delonte returns.  Rondo might get a few more minutes per game but this doesn't change much of Rondo's PT in Doc's rotation.  The one most likely to see a lot more time if Delonte's out is Ray.

I know he was miiiiiiserable down the stretch, but I wonder if Doc would consider giving Wafer the minutes behind Rondo and have whichever starter is playing with the bench (Allen or Pierce) bring the ball up.

Agreed, but I do think that it will be smart to not play him 40 minutes every playoff game though. He looked gassed by the Finals last year.

He'll be at about 42 whereas he would have been around 38 with West
