I Disagree, a smart move by Doc would have been playing Green 35minutes a game every game since the Perkins trade in order to get him comfortable with every thing, and then keep those minutes into the playoffs so that green will be our "JamesPosey"  6th man role

INstead he plays 48 minutes in a meaningless game, and a baffling 10 minutes a game in big games.  Why?  this dude averaged 40 min. for OKC as a starter and he is a lottery pick and the guy is a flat out stud.  What up Doc????????

Seriously????  Green was a starter in OKC out of neccessity.  The Celtics are a totally different situation.  He was brought here to be a back up to Pierce. If OKC had Pierce Green would have been a back up there too.

This "flat out stud played" 47 minutes as our number one option, with our other options all being secon, third and fourth stringers, against one of the worst teams in the league and scored 20 points on 20 shots. WoW!  Give me more of that!!! ::)

Demanding Green play 35 minutes a game on this Celtics team
may be the most rediculous thing I've read on here since the Gerald Green era.

The refs swallowed the whistle on a lot of his inside shots.

Don't excuse his 15 rebounds either. People on here like to talk about his lack of rebounding, and last night he dominated the boards. He can be an above-average rebounding SF.

Granted, he was brought in to play behind Pierce, but it is clear he can also play alongside him, either going big with them at the 2/3 or small at the 3/4. He can penetrate, has a post game, and can hit the corner three. I like his game a lot. He's got a unique arsenal to say the least.

Green and JO looked good last night. Even though the WAS was ugly and Knicks game probably uglier, this gives these 2nd unit guys, minus BBD, some serious minutes to get their confidence up. I believe that when our starters are in playoff mode and these guys come off the bench looking this sharp, well be a tough match up.

The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.
