Quote
Charlie Villanueva could be subject to some type of league discipline after being ejected and restrained twice from going after the Cavaliers’ Ryan Hollins in the fourth quarter of tonight’s home finale at the Palace, won by the Cavs, 110-101.

With presumptive Pistons owner Tom Gores in the stands watching, Villanueva and Hollins started wrestling with each other when Villanueva went to set a pick with 5:47 to go in the game.

Both were pulled back to their respective benches and things appeared calm, but after both players were ejected, Villanueva sprinted across the Palace floor toward the Cavs bench. He was grabbed by Rodney Stuckey and Pistons security head Jerry Herndon and they were able to get him under control.

But later, Villanueva attempted to get to the Cavs locker room, only to be restrained by Auburn Hills police.

As he was escorted back to the Pistons locker room, Villanueva muttered, “I will kill that dude. I don’t give a (expletive).”

At least he didn't take it to twitter this time  ::).

And...

The Miami Heat are so tough they throw the ball at the other teams   ::).

What a joke by both those guys.

Tried to insert the video of Big Z throwing the ball at Zaza, but couldn't figure it out.

Yeah the NBA is so WWE when it comes to 'fighting'.

Hold me back, hold me back, someone, hold me back!
I'm gonna stare at you really hard.
I'm gonna push you really hard and then stare at you harder.
I'm gonna throw a ball at you.

Yeah, thats about it. Step up to fight or don't bother.

Every time I think of criticizing Danny.

I always think of Joe Dumars...worst GM of the past decade.

Delivered them a title and came within a game of another.

A lot of GMs wouldn't mind those results.

Yeah, I think Joe Dumars has done a fine job there...Charlie V's behavior is not indicative of Dumars. The guy is just hot-tempered.

I will give ESPN mad props, though - for this video. The tussle already had an edge to it, then you add that crazy music...lol

He was fantastic, just golden at finding gems at the right price between 2000-2004. Since then, its been down hill for 7 years.

The good: drafting Prince as a late 1st and Okur in the 2nd, trading for Ben Wallace (when Hill was leaving anyway), Corlis Williamson, Rip Hamilton, and Rasheed Wallace; and signing Billups.

Amazing work.

Since then... drafting Milicic over Anthony and the signings of Villanueva, Gordon and an old Hamilton to big contracts comes right to mind.

He's been terrible since the title.

Don't forget Greg Monroe, Stuckey and Jason Maxiel. Those were solid aquisitions.

Maxiel's fallen off the planet, it seems, but he gave us fits back in 07-08.

I didn't name those players since they just met expectations for what position they were drafted at.

Drafting guys like Prince and Okur where he got them was outstanding work.

Also don't forget letting Okur go to have the money to re-sign Ben Wallace, and then letting Ben Wallace go.
