It'll be interesting to see how many people change their predictions based on tomorrow's game against the Knicks.  I'm saying this here and now, win or lose on Wednesday, Celtics in 6.

Game 1 - W
Game 2 - L
Game 3 - W
Game 4 - L
Game 5 - W
Game 6 - W

Hello Miami.
Considering KG/Shaq/PP/Ray/Rajon/JO/West all aren't playing?

I doubt many people are going to change their predictions.

We're a very fickle bunch dontcha know?  ;)

really annoying that had we not completely imploded, i don't doubt we are talking Philly, then NY(4-1) then Orlando and it being a cakewalk. We couldn't have had a more perfect scenario.

If we get there, I don't doubt we meet Okc in the finals

How do you figure we'd be able to play Philly(7), NY(6), and Orlando(4)? Celtics would at least have to face one of Chicago/Miami, if not both, even if we were the 1st/2nd seed.

Unless you think Orlando or NY would be capable of beating either of those teams...

Our little mentally weak baby squad of elderly munchkins can't stop this year's awesome Knicks team.  Curry, Zach Randolph, David Lee... that is a formidable front line.  You hear that Boston?... Formidable... Do you know what that word means?... Look it up.

Knicks in six

Huh? I don't see the heat losing to the Knicks.

  • Thank you Eddie!
Boston in 5, the only game the Knicks will have a good chance to win is game 3 when KG, Pierce, and Rondo all have 5 fouls with 6 minutes to go, and even then it will take a buzzer beater from, say, Stoudemire.

yes I obviously think Ny would have had a very good shot to beat Mia and I think Orlando can beat Chicago. We will only find out about one of those.

Celtics in 5. Celtics still have some pride, Knicks play no D, we're deeper and Amare is hurt. Jeff Green is big off the bench.

Boston Celtics 4 - New York Bricks 0

Shaq will only play in home games.

Murphy will make a 3-pointer

Baby will attempt 20 jumpshots in a half... in a blowout.

JO will average 3 blocks a game

Rondo will have a quintuple-double in Game 3, in points, rebounds, assists, steals... and turnovers

Billups will demand to be traded back to Denver. The Nuggets will offer Cartman and Kenny plus a 2nd round pick

JVG will predict the Knicks knocking out Boston

We'll read each of:

"I'm done with this team"
"Danny gambled and lost"
"This is a must-win game"

at least once per game.

;)

Celtics fan for life.
