I thought he did great, but the shooting percentage definitely leaves something to be desired. A 20-15 game against anyone is pretty impressive. Hopefully this jumpstarts him. He had an opportunity to play without the threat of coming out.

At least we know he's capable of rebounding he needs to hit the boards like this ALL THE TIME and he'll be extremely helpful

The shooting percentage doesn't bother me.  Look at the shooting percentages that players like 'Melo, Kobe, T-Mac, and Iverson have put up when they have no supporting cast to help out.  Today was a case of Green having no supporting cast.  When Green has a full supporting cast, he will play more efficiently.

Green missed a few layups and tip ins...that FG percentage is not a true representation of how effective he was for the offense.

Jeff wasn't chucking shots today.

green also got clearly fouled on at least 4-5 shots that the refs didn't call (to be consistent with their horrible job tonight), so his shooting percentage looks worse than it should have been.

Even horrible rebounders have big days on the boards once in a while.  Ask Kristic.  And there is a huge difference in between grabbing rebounds in the playoff war zone under the rim, and having a big night against the Wizards.

Green was fantastic tonight, I thought.

This is more like what I like to see. Don't be afraid to take and miss a lot of shots. We need our best players to actually be willing to take shots, and live with the consequences of missing. I pray the starters take an example from Jeff Green tonight, I really do.

Overall I'm happy with his play last night and this season so far. The extra PT can only help.

Hopefully he, JO and remainder of bench can see more time on Wednesday?

If Lebron James or any other non-Celtic player required 20 shots to score 20 points, posters would be writing about what a joke it was that he took so many shots, how inefficient he was, etc. Jeff Green took 20 shots and scored 20 points in what was basically an exhibition game. Glad to see him get all of the minutes, but color me unimpressed. I was, however, impressed with the rebounds. Let's see him do something in a game that means something. Then I will be really impressed. If he can actually help this team win games in the playoffs, all will be forgiven.

And Vinnie - I have no doubt, no doubt - that Jeff Green will help this Boston Celtics team in the playoffs.

Why? If Sheed and TA can leave here with such glowing reviews and folks want them back, then of course Jeff will be fine for the playoffs this year.

It's Jeff's turn to impress.

When Jeff Green is a part of the offense he plays good, when he's camping outside to stretch the floor he doesn't really get involved.

We know you don't like Jeff Green! Perk is gone get over it and accept the Jeff is the Celtics future starter. As far as his play he played 47 minutes scored 20/15/4 against the Washington STARTERS not a nbadl or exhibition team.............
