That is my feeling, personally i dont see why everyone is putting so much into these Meaningless regular season games...

Celtics are just not playing focused, they are playing lacadasical basketball, this is just the way they are, they are an older team that KNOWS, these are just regular meanigless games.

Please there is no more explaining to do, i see all these overreaction threads and its really funny.

Stop with the Perkins trade, he or that trade is not the reason the celtics are playing .500 basketball, they would be playing .500 with Perkins too, hes not that important to the celtics, trust me, even with just kristic and Jermaine oneal we are still good there, once shaq is back they are better there with improved bench play at the 3 and 4 spot with jeff green.

Let Chicago play these games like they are big time games, i anticipate the bulls to look like absolute garbage when they meet the celtics. and people are going to  be questioning why are the bulls looking so bad

The bulls are going to find out the hard way they cant win with Boonzer at PF and Bogan at sg, with a pg trying to score the majority of there point, that is not going to happen vs the Celtics..trust me

Miami cannot hang with the celtics, they will have to play so hard on defence and create so much turnovers to stay close, if the celtics just play smart and focused basketball they will take miami out in 6

Im just saying, the celtics are still more talented all-around then any team in the NBA., yet people dont see it that way, they think the celtics are a shinking ship

bring on Marshmelo anthony and the knicks , i want to destroy the knicks, then take out mrs lebron wade  out, then mvp rose
then take out the fakers

Just watch this celtics team is going to be totally different in the playoffs

these are indeed meanigless games

celtics do not care about home court, nor do they need it

please dont even use the lakers series as an example, had the celtics had a healthy body at center to give some rest to sheed in game 7 they win, sadly perkins lost that series for us, if he didnt go down we win

but that doesnt mean we need perkins now either, cause now we have kristic and jermaine oneal and Shaq(knock on wood, but he'll be there)

if we just had someone like nenad kristic or jermaine oneal in that game 7 with sheed celtics win

Indeed.

thanks, ive been a long time reader of this blog, the best place for celtics news comes from here and i enjoy reading the blog

these are just some observations i have seen while watching the celtics the past two years, for some reason they dont put the focus and effort into the second half of the season

but i like going into the postseason like this , i feel the celtics team and just there personality they play better when people/teams count them out

Well, you're right on that one. They do seem to play better with their backs against the wall.

These games have been FAR from meaningless.

Oh, and we have NO kind of post presence.  Wade and Rose are going to hammer us in the paint

Kevin Garnett is a post presence on defence

And Shaq is going to make his presence felt

and dont act like JO cant block shots down low, hes good for that at least..

Rondo will play better defense and the back end will also play much better

rose is going to struggle to score, he will get his but it wont be pretty

and Boozer is going to get absolutely shut down

lets not get ahead of ourselves though cause we need to take the knicks out now

i love this , its probably the toughest road to the finals but this is what i like

While I admire your optimism sir,

I must turn on the Green Colored Glasses ALERT.
Celtics' turn on switch for the playoffs: the last bastion of hope for battered Celtic fans.

The only thing dangerous about the New York Knicks is Spike Lee, lol.....did you see him back in the day in the Indy-NY games? I thought there were times when he was going to come on the court and choke Reggie Miller ;D

One more game & then it's playoff time.

All I can say is that I hope that light switch isn't busted.

On Wednesday? I think Shaq is questionable for it, but I'd be more worried if he couldn't go Sunday, where all indications say he can.

West I have no idea on.
