This thread title sums up what's wrong with the Celtics.

The team starts out with a similar advantage that we had early on against the Heat, and the Wizards shut us down, and went on a 13-0 run. This team isn't playing like a team that wants to win, or even expects to go far in the playoffs.

Normally, I'd associate this with just a bit of over-reaction on the part of a concerned fan, but this team is in serious trouble, and I strongly feel chances are fairly high that we don't make it out of the first round of the playoffs, against the Knicks.

The Wizards shut us down offensively for over 6 minutes straight, possibly 7 minutes. Everybody should be very concerned by this. The Celtics aren't playing like a team that should be in the playoffs. I hope the team gets their head together, and Shaq returns healthy enough to give us good minutes in enough games, but things are looking very dire for the Celtics.

As of my typing this post, the Wizards made it an 18-2 run....

We are being outplayed by the Wizards.

This Wizards game means nothing, man.  Doc sat all of our starters other than JO.  What are we learning?  That another team's starters are better than our bench?  That shouldn't be a huge surprise.

Heard none of the starters are playing... Game means literally nothing.

How do you know its a 16-0 run if you're not at least checking the box score and/or watching the game?

None of our starters are playing.

i think im going to associate this as a bit of an overreaction on the part of a concerned fan... we have no starters in, every game there are runs, dont worry about it

OP. Maybe you should rest before the playoffs, too. Seems like the fans need it just as much as the starters :)

This performance, sadly, is no different than when the Starters are on. The actual starters have played exactly like this for about the last 15 or so games.

Whether we have starters in there, or the bench, we should not go on long scoring droughts like this, or give up leads the way we are.

The excuse that the starters aren't in there, is no longer as credible because the team plays exactly the same with or without the starters, and we have all seen that over these last number of games. It isn't out of the ordinary, sadly.

I do like what Doc is doing, however. To hell with playoff seeds. Just try to get these guys some much needed time on the court to improve their games.

lol, you're right, I do need a rest :/

Just really want to see these guys succeed, and very nervous about what I'm seeing, and I'm a guy that didn't doubt them in the slightest last season.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry too much about it. As long as our starters are getting rest. There is still a shot to win this game, even with our bench.

Doc knows what he is doing.

C's on a 14-0 run of their own, could be 16 if Wafer makes some freebies.

Speaking of Wafer, it is great to see him back playing. He looks really active out there, too.

Glad to hear it.  Seems like he dropped off the face of the earth honestly.  Haven't heard anything about him on here except once (other than this) since his injury.

Stop looking for all the negative things.
You're just waiting for the Celtics to do something wrong.
I don't care how bad we're playing, i'm not giving up on this season even if we would be down 0-3 in a 7 game series and you should do the same.

By the way, English is not my first language so excuse me for any mistakes.
