Yeah, I think they should extend the rotation a bit, but they absolutely need to try to win. 

Frankly, they should beat this team with a couple starters sitting, but with likely 3 days off before the playoffs start, I am not sure sitting guys down completely will do a ton of good.  But, getting guys like Green and West more minutes, and Pierce, Allen, KG, and Rondo less minutes would be beneficial. 

But they should still be trying to win, since the home court race is not over yet.

We try to win, but we also should be looking for minutes for some of our key bench guys, especially Green and Murphy.  Green because he's our key reserve wing, and Murphy because while he's a playoff role player at best we need to get him some reps fulfilling that role. 

Basically we begin and close the game like we always do, but in between Doc should look to make bigger roles for some of our bench.

I'd like to see the Big Four play 30-32 minutes.

Keep JO in his 15-20 minute role. Reduce BBD to a 15-20 minute role. Give Krstic a 20-24 minute role. Troy Murphy should play the remaining big man minutes. Jeff Green and Delonte West should split the backup minutes on the perimeter.

I think it's good for the starters to be playing near to regular minutes before the playoffs. I don't like seeing teams sitting their players out unnecessarily or reducing their minutes to 20-25mpg just before the playoffs ... I think those choices hurt a team more than they help it.

Best to keep your top talent as close to game combativeness + game rhythm as possible.

Try to win this game knowing that 2nd seed is still up for grabs if Miami loses. Then you can either rest the guys for the NY game or play them regarding the evolvement on the #2 seed (and HCA over L.A).

You've got to try to win both of these remaining games. If Boston goes 2-0, and LAL or MIA loose 1 of their games, Boston gains a home court edge.

There will probably be time to rest a couple days before the playoffs, and against WAS, the C's can probably use the bench just a little more.

Celtics need to go all out because there is a possibility the Heat could lose one more game, which would be golden for us. It's sad that it has come to this, but it's time for at least one or two of the Big Three to start taking upwards of 20+ shots a game.

Play the Big 4 and Baby somewhere in the 20s, Jermaine maybe 15. I'd like to see Green get some big minutes today. Murphy too, just so we can see if there's anything at all left... Has the guy even hit a 3 since he came here?

Because this team does things very oddly since the all star break. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if we played one of our best games of the year tonight.

Why? Because it would be meaningless really. We throw up 2 stinkers to elite teams, but pummel the wiz twice in a week.
