I hope in these last 2 games against Washington and NY, Doc decides to sit out and rest Rondo/Allen/Pierce/KG. There's just no use in playing them these final games. Blowing out Washington again won't do much. On the other hand, maybe a week of rest is what this team needs right now. Rondo just doesn't look right. He looks much slower out there and isn't nearly as aggressive. While some of it may be mental, I think he's hurt too. Giving him a week off to reboot might give us back the old energetic Rondo. As for the big 3, they are up there in age so the more rest they get the better.

I would rather have the team go through 3-4 hard practices to get ready for the playoffs then playing in these games. The offense is just terrible. I think it would be a good idea to treat the next week before the playoffs like a mini training camp and not to worry about these 2 games games.

I want to see the Big Four play 30-32 minutes.

Keep JO at his 15-18 minute range. Reduce BBD's minutes to 20mpg. Keep Krstic down at around 20-24mpg. Play Troy Murphy the remaining big man minutes (10-20mpg). Give Jeff Green all of the backup wing minutes and let Delonte have the remaining PG minutes behind Rondo.

I don't like sitting / resting starters before the playoffs unless it's necessary (injuries) ... I think that causes more problems than it solves. Players need to be in rhythm and they need to be playing close to normal minutes to maintain that rhythm.
