I hate to say it but I am beginning to think that John Wall has the makings of a much better PG to build on than Rondo.

Tomorrow, my prediction is that we get blown out by the Wizards....UUURGGGHH

Ainge traded the wrong guy. Imagine somehow Celtics netted Chris Paul in the deadline. Celtics would be formidable for years.

Yeah with Perkins and CP3's knees, we'd certainly have a healthy future...

I don't fault Ainge for the trade. He's a gambler. Gambling on the Big 3 paid off huge but if we don't win in 2008 what is everyone saying after KG's knee in 2009?

In the end this trade could still turn out well but the issue is the teams dependence on Rondo. Rondo is too unpredictable and you don't build a team around that.

With the Dwill and CP3 scenarios this summer may be the time to trade this guy.

Rondo IS the present. He's the best player on this team, and as Rondo goes, there goes the Celtics.

Of course he's not the best PG in the league, but he is the future of the Celtics. In a couple of years the Celtics will get a big man who can jump out of the gym, and a big scorer. Or maybe a big man who can jump and make jumpshots.

The Celtics are showing a poor attitude, and they are playing the worst ball of this season. Will they flip a switch? Doc has the key, and I'm confident he'll do the right thing in the playoffs.

Good night. Have fun until the playoffs start.

1. Replace Doc Rivers - He is incapable of using a bench of former starters to optimize offense.

2. BBD needs to be traded.  It's time.

3. Green needs to start.

These are the real issues...if you don't see it I don't know what to tell you.

1.Yes, it's Doc's fault that a bench of guys that has been perpetually injured and/or rebuilt on the fly isn't clicking. And this will of course be tremendously important when Doc is doing wholesale line changes in the playoffs. Because he does that.  ::)

2. If Davis is your #2 issue with this team I'm not even sure you watch the games.

3. OVER WHO?

My only thing is - as frustrated as I am with Rondo today, I still believe he'll be there when it counts, which is obviously in less than a week now.

Even if - God forbid - we trade him, and get CP3 here in Green - what is the likelyhood that CP3 STAYS in Green?

For all we know, CP3 could use Boston as a lillypad on his way to NY or ORL......or even MIA.

To say Rondo is presently a better player than Pierce, Garnett, and Allen is a huge insult to those guys.

Sick of Rondo and his inconsistent play.

Is it too much to ask for him to make at least +8 assists a game? We all know he can't score or make FTs.
Celtics' turn on switch for the playoffs: the last bastion of hope for battered Celtic fans.

I think it might have been wrong to make Rondo the leader of our offense.

We should have waited a few more seasons to let him groom some more.

Remember when Rondo used to attack the tim with abandon?

Remember when Rondo used to occasionally get those offensive rebounds and slam them home?

Remember when Rondo used to push the ball hard and not stand and dribble the ball for 15-20 seconds at the top of the key?

I know, Man....I'm scratching my head, too.

I'm hopeful we'll see the Rondo you speak of starting next Saturday.

Great reminders. Rondo’s problem isn’t his lack of ability, it’s his lack of effort. That is a THOUSAND times worse because it shows you the guys character. Selfishness isn’t a trait you want of your “cornerstone” of the future. Time to send him packing.

He's capable of playing like the best player on the team, but he's only done that once every 6 or 7 games of late.  Pierce and KG have both outplayed him on the year.

To say Rondo is presently a better player than Pierce, Garnett, and Allen is a huge insult to those guys.

He may not be playing like the best player, but he is this team's MVP. Pierce is the most talented, KG the best defender, and Ray the best shooter. But Rondo is the motor of this team.

I don't think that is even a little insult. That's what we learned last year. We'll see how it works out this year.

Lol, Rondo was paid like he'll be the future of our team so I can laugh at some of you haters. Some you need direct your hateration at you local Celtic's GM or that of the fools down low who were dominated in this game. He still won't reach the level of get rid of Baby posts.
