Remember when all the NBA upper-crust were begging Troy Murphy to play for them...?

I totally agree. If they don't feel like putting forth effort why should I get all upset and let it ruin my day/week.

Even Mark Jackson said it in his comments....he stated that something's just not right with Rondo - and he noted that he hasn't been the same since the All-Star break.

I wonder if it had anything to do with Feb. 24?

If it does, he needs to be traded. He wouldn't be worthy to wear a celtic uniform if he let's the trade of his gf affect his play

And see....that's what I'm most afraid of...is it possible for a player to attempt to punish an organization just because they traded a player away?

To me, that's unfathomable....

As much as I wear Green-Tinted glasses around here....I have to take them off for a minute and wonder what is up with Rondo?

I extremely doubt he is punishing the organization for trading his friend, could be wrong but still doubt it.

I fear that Rondo has peaked it terms of potentially and getting better. That is the only thing negative about being on a team with so many other better scorers, Rondo might think he doesn't have to work on his offense because he is surrounded by HOFers. So is this who he is going to be? Hope not, I think he can develop a jump shot, if he does he's deadly, if not he's just another above average PG.

Man, I hope you are right, DP.

It's just that the Rondo that've we've all seen the last two post-seasons seems to be missing right now.

Yes - his play against DRose in 08-09 playoffs could be attributed to Rose not being that good - yet.

Rose has obviously gotten better..congrats to him for working on his game.

Like you said and others have said on here - Rajon Rondo needs to continue to work on his game, but right now I think he needs someone to work on his mind more than anything else.

I've been wrong before when it comes to basketball....I hope I'm wrong today.

Horrid game. The starting 5 could have blown out Miami but it's clear that they don't care for any game. I expect a totally different attitude in the playoffs.

If only Doc stopped messing with the rotation, it would be easier to get wins. I hope he really knows what he's doing.

Are we still on time to cut Murphy/Sasha and sign Sheed? We'll need a lot of legit 7-footers because of foul trouble.

Have fun, my friends, the regular season doesn't matter at all.

Go Celtics!!

What does it say that Murphy can't get one meaningful minute in a game where we get out-rebounded by 68?  I mean, I'm not picking on the guy, but didn't we get him to beef up the frontcourt?  SMH

I'm not so  much bothered by the seeding.  I am fully confident that the "real" Celtics team (aka fully-engaged and smelling blood) can win on any court at any time.  But just the casual crappiness of late is tough to stomach.  I gave them a mulligan versus Chicago because that is a legit team with a great defensive coach and winning players.  The team we lost to today is a hoax of a title contender.  I'm not surprised that the ABC television clowns were fawning over them, basically disregarding the Bulls.  What league have they been watching the past two months??
