We have gone from one of the toughest teams in the league to one of the softest in less than one year.  We are a disgrace.  Why are we afraid to drive the ball to the hole against softy Chris Bosh and the dinosaur Ilgauskas??

Very sad!!!

It is like losing a child.  We have lost a great team that was ONCE upon a time a tough team with heart of steel.

We cannot get a rebound or a loose ball.  We are soft.  We play like we are entitled.  We simply do NOT have any desire any more.  Pitiful.

Guys, there is still the play-offs... Maybe this is just a smokescreen of good things to come...  ::)

59 points to start the 4th. No, the problem is not the defense, it's the offense.

I want Davis gone. He just completely whiffed on a pick and immediately ran out towards the 3 point line hoping to get another jumpshot for himself.

I really really want the C's to fail miserably in the playoffs just to see the optimists' and the C's (especially Ainge's) reaction.

You're going way too far.

To criticize the team end the organization is one thing, hoping the team will lose is just does not make you a fan at all.
The Celtic in me.

Assuming they lose this game, I shut down Rondo, PP, KG, Ray, Pig Baby and JO till the playoffs.  That's the best chance at this point.  Nothing positive comes out of playing out the remaining 3 games.

Why bother waiting. They have taken the day off today, anyway.
Get tired of hearing this crap it's not even about takin the day off were TRYING to win these games

You might need to make your early summer vacation plans if you are a celtic player. That pretty much sums up how our center position is too big a hole to hope for any miracles in the playoffs.

I would say it's both.  A large part of the problem with the offense is that nobody seems willing to do the dirty work any more.

Doc pegged it exactly right:

1.  No team identity;
2.  "Soft" on defense;
3.  "Selfish" on offense

the way this team has played the last month it is like they are just playing out the string instead of getting ready for the playoffs. they make me want to puke. i am ASHAMED of this team right now. from danny ainge to doc to the big 4 to jeff green.

With all due respect, you can't be more wrong, everything starts with defense(rebounds)
what doesn't kill you makes you stronger

are we supposed to just pretend that back to back blowouts by the our toughest competitors in the east with playoff seeding on the line is another example of us just being lazy and waiting for the playoffs? I dont buy it this team lost its mojo theyre clueless on offense they barely even give us glimpses of the greatness that once was.
The NBA..where "this whole sport is a business and the referees decide games and David Stern is a snake and is only in this for the money" happens.

The worst part isn't that this team sucks. It's that they don't care that they suck. They decided in February after the trade that their run was over and that was it.

Yup. They'll be crying about "unity" and "identity" when they get bounced in the second round too.

At least we know it's all getting blown up next year anyway.
Never stop believing baby~
