So how is this any different than the bulls game? This team is unable to turn it on no matter what they say. Down at the half quickly turns into 10 plus in the second half

Your rebounding stats at the half:

MIA 24
BOS 10

Are you kidding me?

Down 7 at halftime with basically no production from Rondo, Pierce, Ray and everybody except for KG. Could have been worse but it definitely has to get better in the 2nd half.
This. My sentiments too. Everytime you're behind a wee bit while your starters don't contribute a bit, it shouldn't worry you. This is only if your starters names are R. Allen, P. Pierce, R. Rondo and K. Garnett though :p

Remember when people were saying Rondo had a huge advantage over Bibby. I don't see it.

He does. Bibby sucks. Rondo has just been a non factor this half...

Rondo has been a non factor? You mean like almost every game for the past 3 months?

Did you not watch Rondo against WAS, PHI, DET, SAS, and IND the past two weeks?

He was in a slump for about a month, month and a half, but he's been fine the past few weeks.

  • Let's Go Celtics!
Rondo has been a non-factor.

Paul Pierce is playing hero ball.

Ray Allen is playing golf.

BBD is on Mars. (I don't think I've ever screamed at my television so loudly when he was bringing the ball up. "PASS THE FRICKIN BALL!")

KG is playing incredibly well offensively.

I liked JO's hard foul, would love it more if the intensity rubs off on everyone else.

I pray that Rondo comes out with some passion in the next half.

I also pray that he can get his head straight prior to the playoffs. I defend Rondo a lot of times, but if this type of play keeps up, then maybe the "T" word should be explored after this season is over.......

Out of all the players I have watched in this Celtics-Heat game, Rondo is so far the most ineffective..

The analysts are calling it like it is--this team is not the same since the trade, and we're baked.  BBD is garbage and Doc continues to play him.  Crazy.

Delonte, Krstic and JO have some pretty nice stats at the half. Way to go!

Things looked pretty promising after that 11-2 spurt.  Let's hope we can start the second half with something similar.

on a good note, I'm not sure the Bulls can beat the magic in a 7 game series after today's game

I have never seen Rondo sooooo passive in a very important game. He is sleepwalking the ball, no dribble penetrations and make plays, its as if he is holding out or something.

And what was the one-on-one meeting with doc for if he is just going to be this passive....oh I know, he is probably excited to watch his bestfriend Perk later tonight.

can't say I am surprised at this result so far. Pretty much expect them to slop through a few more weeks of hoops and then have a nice long offseason with the lockout

i am not sure boston can get out of the first round anymore

LOL...people always wanna say "down by (insert deficit here) at the half and we're not even (insert reason for deficit here)?? All we have to do is (insert everything we weren't doing in the first half here) and we'll be fine!"

It never fails, and I too used to do this...it sounds so easy to fix but it usually doesn't happen. We've seen that a lot over the past 20 or so games. I pray they turn it on this half but its just not that easy.

Everybody, except KG, is playing like somebody else has to step up, but nobody does that!

Perfect, so it can be Magic - Heat in the ECF.  The worst of all worlds.  ;D
