A Long time coming but the Grizzlies are finally back in the playoffs. And I really like their team. Z-Bo and Gasol combo will give any top seat problems. Tony Allen and Shane Battier will make any opposing wing player life a living hell. I have a hunch either them or the Blazers will upset a top seat. What do you guys think?

I like MEM...at least they are legit. Portland, too.

I can certainly see either of those two upsetting someone.

If LA isn't careful, they could be a victim.

I'm really glad for them. They're exactly the sort of team that could surprise if they can ride the tremendous emotion in the playoffs.

Here's hoping Good Tony shows up for them when they need it.

I think they'll win a game if they play the Lakers.  2 if they play the Spurs.

I saw them as a giant killer until Rudy Gay went down injured.

Without Rudy, they are still a solid team but nowhere near as dangerous. I can't see them getting out of the first round.

I really like the Grizz... Its too bad Gay is out because they could provide some danger in the West. Actually there are 7 dangerous teams in the West Playoffs (the Hornets without West wont make much noise). The trailblazers could be a cinderella story.

Interesting hunch.  I could see it happening but it would depend on either of those teams needing to be on fire for the duration of the series to take a higher seed down.

Didn't they beat the Spurs last two times they played them?

I thought Memphis was nasty from the beginning of the season (although Gay makes a pretty big difference).  They also have some decent quality off the bench.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale
