don't let LA fool you...they will beat whoever is in front of them until the finals...then it is anybodies game...that 17-1 stretch is more indicative ofwhat we will see come playoff time...

They have a better "opposite conference" winning percentage than we do (i.e., they did better against the East than we did against the West.)

Portland straight up beat them down, haven't paid much attention to seeding in the west is LA looking at POR in the first round? yikes

Wesley Matthews plays Kobe as well as anybody if not one of the best. LA's size instead of an advantage looked very vulnerable against them. And Gerald Wallace is the wildcard he destroyed them. I doubt Stern would let a upset happen to the precious Lakers though.

I think the celtics should go for it. Finish the season 3-0 to boost confidence and secure the 2nd seed. I think that helps them the most mentally going into the playoffs. The physical can take care of itself.
