Dream Shaq Line For The Playoffs
20 minutes...12 points...7 rebounds...1 block

Realistic/Probable Shaq Line For The Playoffs
15 minutes...10 points...5 rebounds...1 block

in any event...the domino effect with JO will be huge...if you jump off the Celtic's bandwagon now...victory is not as sweet...keep the faith!

I could care less what the lines are, as long as he is on the floor.  If he is on the floor for the entire second round and beyond, then this team is in very good shape.

Agreed. Heck, I'd take 4 and 3 over 12 mpg.

There's only gonna be one important stat from Shaq if we want to win a championship:

Min: 30+

He's head and shoulders above all of the scrub centers we have now that Perk is gone. JO can't rebound and is THE WORST on offense I've ever seen. Krstic is ok on offense but a sieve on defense and also can't rebound. And we all know Davis is a joke, particularly when he tries to play center. It's a nightmare.

We need Shaq and we need him for at least 30 minutes a game. If he can do that he'll provide us with everything we need, I'm sure of it.

JO getting no rebounds was not good, but he did block 2 shots in the 17 minutes he played. Only Luol Deng had that many, and he did it over 37 minutes.

There's no way Shaq's going to play 30+ minutes in the playoffs...he didn't even play that much when he was healthy during the beginning of the season.

I'll be happy if he gives us 15-20 minutes though.

I didn't say it was realistic, I just said it's what we need if we want to win.

i think shaq wil play 24-28 mins barring no foul trouble

& j.o will probably have 20-24 with kg finishing games at center as we bring back the posey days with green at the 4

its probbaly a secret weapon doc is waiting to use on opponents come playoff time

Shaqs line that doesn't show up in box scores
fills the middle, fouls hard and draws fouls because he can't be guarded

So long as there are 16 Ws, I don't care so much what his stats are.  If healthy, he can definitely put up the 12/7 you're hoping for, though.

Setting picks has to be there as well... ask Ray Allen how he feels about Shaq potentially coming back.   I swear I saw him on the bench during Shaq's spectacular 3 injury-free minutes with a huge grin on his face... almost like Ray was saying to his teammates, "See... that's what I need... wall-sized picks"

i agree if Shaq can give 30 minutes a game we would win it all, problem is, I don't think he can even give 12 minutes a game and I think he is going to be lucky to give even that.

"Wall-sized picks" is totally something Ray would say. TP
