Delonte reportedly denied allegations that he had anything going on with Mama James,right? Still,it's a shame that grown people don't know how to act when out in public(Ms.James).

He had a very Delonte-way of answering the question and some thought it seemed ambiguous. Personally, I thought it seemed like an out-right denial.

I think now we know why LeBron chose Miami, so that Mama James could go clubbing.

More details surfacing, you coulda connected the dots on this one:

Police said Gloria James had a strong odor of alcohol on her breath and her eyes were bloodshot when officers arrived at the hotel about 4:47 a.m. Thursday.

Police said several witnesses supported valet worker Sorel Rockfeller’s account of the alleged assault.

Gloria James was taken to the Miami Beach Police Department, where she was issued a Promise to Appear on charges of simple battery and disorderly conduct. A police report says she was released to Miami Heat executive Steve Stowe.

While at the station Sgt. Rojo and the shift commander Lt. Acosta tried to speak with the arrestee who became very uncooperative stating "I'm trying to trust you but I don't trust your kind. I don't trust that officer who arrested me."

She either doesn't trust cops or Hispanics, apparently.

They should have taken her to jail. That "promise to appear" was only done because of who she is.

Also, the Yahoo report said one of the charges was disorderly conduct. However, if she was under the influence, as was stated in the arrest form, then it should be disorderly intoxication.

People will want to dismiss this, but it was a bit of a concern w/ Lebron moving to a larger market... there were a lot of whispers around Cleveland that people might be covering up for her.

I've heard this a lot too - that LBJ's ego/behavior is nothing compared to his mom's. Hard to believe, right?

As an aside, I have a friend who worked for the University of Akron during LeBron's high school days and first years in Cleveland and word is Mama Bron isn't acting any differently now than she did then. Alcohol abuse, substance abuse, major pain in the butt. That is her Akron reputation.

I have a good deal of family out there, and lord knows what's true, but it did seem like everybody in Cleveland knew somebody with a Gloria James story.
