I am crossing my fingers that somehow the Hornets do not finish with the Seventh seed. I think Portland or Memphis could give the Lakers issues much like the Thunder did last year.

Speaking of the Thunder, they are a game behind Dallas for the three seed. I want OKC to be the second round matchup for LA after what I saw last game between Dallas and LA.

LA potentially playing Memphis/Portland, then OKC, and then SA without HCA would be a tough road. Also they play some good teams and it's not a done deal they finish ahead of us. Imagine playing those series and then facing Boston in the finals with game one in Boston?

Of course they could play NO w/out West (SWEEP), then the Mavs with HCA, then SA, and then Boston with game one in LA. Hopefully this isn't the case.

As much as I want to see Boston win 18 I want to see LA not win 17 almost as much.

i was thinking the same thing.
Lakers are 4-0 against the Hornets(with West).
that will be an easy sweep for them.

Agreed.

I'd love for the Lakers to play Memphis in Round 1.  I think that will be a tough matchup for them.  I'm also hoping that OKC can move up the 3 seed so that LA faces them next.  I'll be cheering Perk in that matchup!
Celtics fan for life.

Crossing my fingers for a tough road for them, starting in the first round... but I try not to hope too much because they always manage to get the easiest road so they will probably play NO in round 1. :-X

But yeah, Portland and/or Memphis would be a really interesting series and I would love to see a Lakers/OKC series in the 2nd for the revenge factor of the Thunder and, of course, for Perk!
