As I watch Delonte game after game the same though always goes through my mind : every time he shoots the ball after dribbling a little and taking a "kind of" stepback jumper, I say to myself "it's good". Overall I just feel very good about Delonte in the sense that I think 90% of his jumpers are going in, he is going to play good D, make good decisions...

It's just really comforting, in my opinion, to know that one of the key of your 2nd unit is so reliable, even when playing at less than 100% (and arguably around 70%). I don't feel the same way about Baby who is supposed to be our 6th man. Am I the only one feeling confident in Delonte?

Yea I think we all expected Delonte to play really well for the most part, and injuries aside he has been fantastic. Fits in perfectly with the team.
Andy Bernard doesnt lose constests. He wins them, or he quits them because they're unfair.

well, Delonte's not a core piece, but he's good enough to be a starter for a lot of other teams. he was the starting SG for Cleveland last year, wasn't he?

He is an x factor for us.  He will be able to give rondo a break at pg and while he isn't in the same league as a pg he's got to be one of the best  backups in nba.  Delonte is also an energy guy, he'll hustle to do whatever.
If all our pieces are healthy and fit together  ;D

The the first time all year he's had a chance to work his way into a rhythm.  He's put together a bunch of excellent games.  I'm loving him and Rondo on the floor together.
Yup

Yes, felt that way since he signed last summer. Absolutely delighted to pickup Delonte. He adds real quality to the Celtics supporting cast.

I didn't like him so much the first time around in Boston (tweener) but he won me around with his stellar play in Cleveland. A high level role player.

you need guys with confidence and aggression off the bench - Eddie House was that guy for us for a while, Nate filled in fairly well in that role in the playoffs last year, now it is Delonte and I couldn't be happier (knock on wood)

I'm also feeling good for Delonte.  He's in a nice spot right now after a tough couple of years.

Delonte is a really quick, active and aggressive defender.

It is not unreasonable to project him into Tony Allen's role from last season's playoff run - star shooting guard disruptor.

Wade and Kobe want nothing to do with 16 minutes of Delonte's Inferno!

The problem in past years is we had Nate and Tony, or before that Eddie and Tony for one role. Delonte plays that roll, since he's one guy instead of two he makes the rotations work much better.

Coupled with Jeff Green, BBD, and .1/2 of whatever big man is healthy, I'm feeling pretty good. (This is a tribute to Bill Simmons 8 and 1/2 guys rotation rant about Houston.)

I'm a big Delonte fan, but I don't think his D is quite up to Tony's level.  He offers a lot of things that TA didn't, but I think he's more of an agitator on D than a lockdown player.

Yes, he is the only player who comes off the bench that I have confidence in

I love Delonte.  I said earlier when he was hurt that his return would be key for the Celtics.  I love the way he's been playing.

I know Tommy loves him too.  He's won 3 Tommy Awards in a row.

Delonte is a huge piece for us.  If Green had Delonte's toughness he would be an allstar every year.  Delonte can definitely be an important piece on a championship team.  He plays the right way and does a lot of little things.
