I love how the past month so many below average players have been having break out nights against the Celtics.

Celtics have been soft push overs lately.

I hope this is just a pre playoff slump like last year, and not a sign of things to come with Perkins gone.

He stole a rebound... c'mon, it wasn't that serious.

He ripped it from KG like it was his wallet. Then pounded his chest like a animal. If KG did that I would consider that a punking.

Sorry buddy. Apparently Ainge is convinced that placing all your bets on a 39 year old washed up Shaq and a "always injured and mentally weak" Jermaine O Neal.

I seriously hope the O Neals play like monsters in the playoffs, otherwise buh bye.

Za Za got a sneak attack in. Happens to the best of them.

The only thing he'll be pounding around the end of Apr is his paddle in the water on The Atlanta Hawk's seemingly yearly April Fishing Trip.

When Atlanta can beat elite teams on a regular basis then maybe I'll take notice. Even though they've beaten ORL in the regular season, there's no way they are getting past them in a playoff series.

And right now guess who ATL is matched up against in the playoff pairings....

KG's age has caught up with him. I remember when he was younger with Minnesota, he would go high up to recover a missed shot and slam it. Now he tips the ball and is tentative taking it strong instead he shoots that 20 footer w/c if missed he's nowhere near for a rebound.

Who cares about Atlanta, they aren't going anywhere. They can take their meaningless win which they barely scratched out because of a tired and soft Celtics team.

I hope KG won't let stuff like that happen to him in the playoffs, we need the Crazy KG back.

KG is a great player, but I absolutely can't stand the way he rebounds.  He doesn't block out his man, he tips the ball, rebounds with one hand, isn't strong when catching the ball, etc.  These are all correctable problems, why aren't they being corrected?
Now someone is going to chime in with KG's rebounding average and claim that I'm being unfairly critical of him, but I'm not buying it.  He is tall enough and athletic enough to rebound effectively MOST OF THE TIME, but his fundamentals suck; so when the game gets close and guys start to crash the boards more aggressively than normal, he costs us way too many posessions...p---es me off.

No more like stealing a dollar bill hanging out of your back pocket. KG wasn't aware that Zaza was there and he was still in the act of pulling the board down when Zaza came from under him and stole it. KG had two hands on it, but the ball landed in Zaza's chest so he got his arm around it and ripped it. IMHO, Zaza just looked stupid screaming and pound his chest over the play. It's regular season, it wasn't a block, it wasn't a dunk, it was a rebound you sneakley stole. Calm down buddy.

Zaza whacked KG in the head, raked him across both arms, threw his elbow and hip into him, ripped the ball from his hands, and got away with it ... if that qualifies as getting "punked", then the answer would be "yes".

regardless of how you think zaza looked, he made a very good play and it was at a key moment and with his dramatics he made kg look like a wuss on that play...we need some players like zaza in our lineup
