Sometime last year the celtics lost their swagger in the 4th, culminating in our loss in game 7. It continues. This team has lost it's clutch... What gives?

How about why cant they score in more ithan ONE quarter in a game lately?! They have one good quarter playing team ball, and three where they don't do that. Mental mistakes and selfish play.

I don't buy tired legs.

There is some sort of wrong strategy...we don't go with what keeps working.

We try really hard to find Ray on set plays and it uses up a lot of the clock....resulting in either Baby or Rondo taking perimeter shots.

We closed out the Spurs in the 4th quarter and played big down the stretch so I know we have it in us to finish games.

Tonight it was some missed shots, missed opportunities near the rim.

KG and Ray need to be more aggressive on the offensive side...if they aren't aggressive Rondo and Baby are just going to take it into their own hands to make something out of nothing.

Our bench is thing....the Hawks had 2 bench players who basically individually matched or outmatched our entire bench.

You can't discount tired legs.

When you're tired you shoot/execute/do everything worst.

This was a back to back for an old team, and they barely got any sleep because of the late flight.

I'll cut them some slack this time, at least it was a close game.

I agree with this post for this game, but overall I'd say we just get away from doing the things that make us successful. It's cool to take jumpshots early on, but when you know you're gassed you need to get to the rim. We always start attacking the basket too late. Pierce did it tonight, 5 minutes later than he should have. Rondo was the only one that really attacked, but he just couldn't get them to fall. Even when we were moving the ball it was for an open jumpshot, not a lay up.

And someone give this entire team the old Celtics Instructional Videos from the 80's and remind these guys how to find a man and BOX OUT.

We seemed to have enough energy to build a 12 point lead?

Remember Phil Jackson's quote last year?

Celtics are the best team at blowing 4th quarter leads.

This is a huge problem for the Celtics, playoffs or not.

We're so old and tired that we're 30 games over .500
That's awful!
We were old and tired last year too, and we had to beat 3 younger teams.
You are right though, we are old the entire team is tired. But I'm not sure how much that matters?

Yes I am a proud Green Teamer! I am a Celtics fan! Are you? Sometimes it sounds like you want them to fail.
