 I saw the Injury.

Has anyone heard anything yet. Is there an MRI.

I hope the "big softie" is OK. We don't need any more Bigs hurt for the Playoffs.

If it turns out that Nenad is out for the rest of the season/playoffs, would we be able to cut him and sign another player? A player like, oh I don't know, SHEED? muahahaha  ;D

#Celtics are hoping for the best (sprain) but fear the worst (ACL tear) w/Krstic. The way it happened, that's usually how ACL tears occur.

  • Rondo = Good
Most likely we'll be without him the rest of the way.  Some people on here are going to be thinking they should have been more careful what they wished for.

Shaq, JO, BBD, Murphy will be covering the center position for us.

I'm wondering why they couldn't do it today? I have had an MRI it's not as if it depends on swelling levels and all that.

I don't think they could put him on a plane last night, so he would have to travel today. And it is not that urgent, since he wouldn't be playing tonight under any circumstances.

I think it probably has more to do with them being in Atlanta, and since he is not playing tonight no matter what, there is no reason to fly him home a day early just to do it, or having it done in Atlanta, where it might be more expensive, and more complicated than if they just wait until Saturday, and do it at the affiliated hospital, with the team doctor, etc.

Essentially, they can save some cash, without really losing, or risking anything.

I am curious why haven't we heard anything as far as how he's moving, if he is at least able to walk etc ?

He hasn't had the best of luck with knee injuries. Let's hope it's not a tear and just a sprain.

He suffered from a torn ACL (left knee) in 2006. This time though its his right knee. Hopefully its just a sprain.

If we did hear anything, it would be pretty irrelevant anyways.  Until they take the MRI, it could be pretty much anything, and anything else is idle speculation.

we get one center back and lose another one the same nite - the Celts have to be the most injured team (player games missed) in the league this season ..... not even close.

does Elias keep all-time stats on this sort of thing - i've never seen anything quite this bad ?

Hopefully it's nothing serious, if it is does he get cut and we find someone to replace him?
