Bigs that chuck up threes and float on the perimeter defeat the whole point of having them on a team. Chunning Fyre has to stop before he turns into another Sheed.

Good defensive player.  Can score in the low post.  Can rebound.  Tall.  Also not afraid of playing in big games.

Even if Sheed came back, would he be eligible to play in the play-offs? I thought it would be too late.

Yes, he would.  As long as he is signed before the last day of the regular season, he is playoff eligible.  The only rule is a player cannot be on one team's roster after March 1, and then be on another teams playoff roster.  Since he was on no roster this year, he is still eligible.

Did not know this, thanks for the clarification.

I guess "Need for Sheed" has replaced "Return of Antoine Skywalker".

I'm so with the times! :D

Dave was my first choice before Doc and his experience was with the Spurs. I honestly think Doc's better to deal with players, but Dave would have ran a tighter ship. He was big on front court production. If Lawrence Frank goes I'd give Dave a call. Dee Brown would be worth a look, but only because I don't know what

Sheed will have my unending admiration and gratitude for his play in game 7 last year. He was asked to play more minutes since Perk went down. The man left everything he possibly had out on the court that night.  You could not ask for more effort from a player.

Well, he was well rested at that point, having essentially taken the previous four months off.

You could have asked him to be in better shape going in to the playoffs so he'd have a little more to give. Just sayin...
