Yeah....Lakers look dominant...just like CLE looked dominant prior to meeting Boston in the playoffs last year.
ORL had some folks in fear, too...until they too - met Boston in the playoffs last year.
And when we met LA last year? Bynum played almost every game, Gasol did too...but it took LA seven games to beat Boston with KG being hurt and hobbled, Paul being banged up, Ron Ron's cheap shot on Ray's leg, etc...
LA "Looks" good, yep.
Come on, we're all homers for our teams...But "Cleveland?" You're comparing a team that's never won anything to a team that has already won two championships in a row.
Yes, it was a good win...But that's it. Worth the same as any other win, and not even the playoffs.
Um...well, that CLE team I'm speaking about took LA out back to the shed in 09-10 - both games.
They were truly dominant, too - if I remember correctly, they ran away with the best record last year, too - and then they met Boston. KG and Rondo were key to that series last year, and I think those two will be key this year in a potential matchup in June with LA - especially a healthy KG vs Gasol.
This is where I was going with my comparison of CLE(Last year's playoffs and regular season) to LA....two dominant "Looking" teams...at the time.
Look - I respect what your squad is done this year and even right now, but I'm not about to concede the title to you all until Boston has the final word.
No matter how many Kobe highlights I must suffer through, or Ron Ron kissing his arms, etc......the games
must be played...and as long as Boston is healthy I absolutely LOVE our opportunity.
Banner 18 beckons, and for it come at the expense of the Los Angeles Lakers will make this even sweeter.
