The Cavs will retire Lebron James' jersey eventually. As much as I disliked how Lebron did "The Decision", time heals all wounds.

Even now, even though I still dislike "The Decision", he has shown a measure of maturity the way he handled himself THIS time in CLE vice the last time. That is to be considered, IMO.

Eventually, I cannot see any reason why CLE doesn't retire his jersey. What he did there is admirable, even if he couldn't bring them a banner.

You know the Cleveland Browns really had some good years before Art Model moved the team to Baltimore. Do you think in the future they'll give him the keys to the city?

Reagan was a loyal and true Democrat before switching parties. Any day now I'd expect the dems to push for his face to be on a coin.

Newt Gingrich had some good years with his ex wives. I'm sure they'll support his run for the presidency.

And Mikhail Baryshnikov was really just way too paranoid about the Soviets after he defected. I mean he had good years there. They probably just wanted to honor him

And I'm sure the Cavs will retire Lebron's jersey. He's the best player in their history

lol....good points. But politics aside I can't see any reason why they wouldn't retire his jersey.

It won't be any time soon, but once CLE gets established again (and they will), what Lebron James did (or - rather how he did it) I think will not be a determining factor in what he accomplished there.
