Hey, if it were up to me, we'd win every NBA Championship  ;D

Right now I'd settle for a little hope (just as long as it's not named Shaq or Jermaine Oneal).
Never stop believing baby~

Before I clicked on the video I thought it was going to be JO's "block party" vs BBD in the playoffs last year.

Shaq will play.
Jermaine will FOUL, or block.. whichever the refs call.
Krstic will play for a few minutes if he has to.
Rondo will hopefully play like Rondo, and not Ricky Rubio.
Ray Allen will get his shots.
KG will make everyone look soft, and call out names as well.
Paul Pierce will lead the way.
The bench will be what we expected at the start of the season.... the best bench on paper, in the NBA.

The East is not hard to win... whoever wins the West is the tough matchup. If we play LA, cool, just make sure Fisher doesn't flop his was into a movie, Kobe has to win the games for them, and Pau Gasoft makes the marshmellow man look hard. Their bench sucks, except for Odom, so BBD has his job... and all I ask, is for someone to shut Ron Artest up... thank you, and have a nice, Celtics day. :)

When is the last time that a #3 seed without HCA after the first round won the NBA championship?

I'm not trying to be flippant, I'm legitimately curious.

San Antonio in 2007 was the third seed...although they had HC over the Cavs.

Last one was the Detroit Pistons in 04 I think. Didn't have homecourt after the first round and beat the #2 Nets, the #1 Pacers, and then the #2 Lakers.

That's probably the closest comparison we can hope for.  We don't have a '95 Hakeem or even an '07 Duncan on this team (though maybe Rondo could be '07 Parker).  I'm not convinced this team is as talented as the Pistons were, either.

How many teams have won the title without HCA in the Finals since the introduction of the 2-3-2 format?

Ummmm KG??
KG compares to Hakeem in alot of way. Versatile big man who can do it all on the court. With a wide range of unstoppable post moves
