You heard it hear first. I absolutely guarantee, without Rondo in the lineup, that the C's will handle the Wolves.

I've been waiting to see how the C's would play with out Rondo slowing them down, and now I will get my wish. I predict a blowout.

Problem is that West hasn't been running the team well either, at least the 2nd team. He's looked well with the starters, so we'll see how it goes.

I'm mainly looking for KG's defense to pick-up.

I don't know if facing a Wolves team without Love wouldn't be a blowout either way.

We've said the same thing about the last teams we've played who were missing key players, yet we either lost or had a tough game.

Hope you're right...A win would be be nice, for our confidence as much as the players!

That's exactly why I think we'll blow them out. I would be more worried if we were coming off two straight wins.

Is Kurly not starting? Celtics vulnerability is their interior D. Celtics bigs are softer than baby puppies in their current state. It was Perk not KG the reason Celtics had a stalwart interior D. KG did the talking & Perk did the walking.

Perk was not the reason our defense was good this year, so lets leave that notion at that.

That's what they always say, Perk wasn't the reason for anything. Game 7 proved otherwise & Celtics current run says otherwise. Teams are smothering the Celtics on the inside. Celtics are soft.

So when the Celtics didn't play soft for most of the year with Perk on the sideline, Perk was still providing a tough interior defensive presence because his aura emanated from the bench out onto the court and underneath the basket?

Or maybe he transferred his essence into Semih Erden during that stretch and it was Semih Erden, who started for a good portion of the season and saw heavy minutes with Jermaine and / or Shaq out, that was maintaining our strong interior D?

Are we really gonna argue that our interior D is that much worse because we're missing a center who only played for about a month and a slim rookie 7 footer who barely knew the rotations?  Our defense was very good for most of the season without Perk and with Semih as a key rotation player.  While I don't think Nenad is good at defense, I sincerely doubt that he's much worse than Semih Erden.  I also think it's really tough to argue that Perk had an appreciable impact on the team's defense for most of the season.

Are you saying our defense was our problem in game 7? I recon it was our best defensive effort of the series. And the value of Perk in that series was that we didn't have a replacement for him. Though Sheed stepped up, but he couldn't do it alone, one more body was needed and we only had Williams to back up, and Davis can't handle the length of the Lakers.

What I'm saying though is that Perk barely played this year, so certainly not the reason for our good defense this year.

And if we don't win will that mean that Delonte doesn't deserve to start and Rondo does?

Either way it's meaningless, this team should blow out the T-Wolves with or without Rondo. Especially with no Love.

Bringing in all the 7footer past off-season was a temporary fix. A stop stopgap measure for the regular season, or until Perkins comes back.

Celtics blowing out Minnesota in the first quarter.

Ball movement is the best ive seen it all season.

Sorry Rondo, you need to be benched for the rest of the season. Our team is better offensively without you.
