every game with the t-wolves has always been close. at first you would think that its because of the kg traded players trying to prove themselves but now no one from that trade is left. so i have no idea why every game with them is always close, but it'll probably come down to late game execution again...

did i not call it to be a close game? ::)

Did we really only score 85points against a Love-less Timberwolves side??

This is laughable. Yet again. Delighted I didn't watch it.

I cant believe people are saying Jeff Green isnt that good.

Everyone thought Tony Allen sucked while playing 15 minutes a night and being used as strickly a defensive stopper.

Look what happened.

Hes is the main man on a playoff team while playing 30+ minutes a night and gets to use up all of his gas.

You really think Jeff Green isnt good?

Hes only playing 18 minutes a night on a team that never gives him the ball and doesent utilize his talents.

Tony Allen is carrying a team in the west to the 8th seed and into the playoffs now that hes given an opportunity.

Jeff Green is being asked to come off the bench and play limited minutes as the 6th option on a team behind Big Baby Davis.

Get a clue people. GET A CLUE.

somebody (like doc or the vets) need to sit baby down and tell him that unless he is really on, there is no way he should take that many shots. i feel like many of our worst games happen when baby turns into antoine walker and takes 12-15 shots to get 12 points. if he's hitting a lot of them, okay. if he's not, he needs to keep the ball moving. not blaming our play on him, but he is often a big part of the problem, at least when he turns into a volume shooter (and pierce turns into a 3 point specialist).

Jeff Green is a starter in for any other team. In all honesty bench Ray or Pierce, the latter especially because he slows us down ridiculously.

I'm going to start a "Start Jeff Green" campaign because by god is is better on the offensive end than any of our starters, period.

Assuming this isn't sarcasm, then why would we replace Pierce with an inferior scorer, shooter, rebounder, passer, and defender?

at the very least, play him a lot more minutes. and play pierce fewer minutes (or maybe even give him a game off here and there - like tomorrow night, maybe). for some reason, we've turned into a jump shot team during this funk, which would be okay except for the fact that everyone's jumpers seem to be off. green is a legit post player, especially at the 3. get him some of pierce's minutes, and go inside to him. it could help our offense out a lot. and, yeah, i think pierce is gassed or something. his form and everything seems fine, but he can't shoot worth jack right now. maybe dead legs. rest would help him.

Here we go...and no, there's no Bud Light anywhere, either.

What?? did you see the statline where they said over the past 3 games he's been averaging 21 points on 54% shooting?? if it wasn't for Pierce tonight we woulda lost plain and simple

Alot of it is sarcasm. More minutes for sure.

But in terms of Pierce slowing our offence. Up-Fake, Step, bounce, draw foul, shoot.... or drive to the whole, shout 'and one', hoping for a 3 point play.

Oh and he does this at a remarkable 1.2mph.

Don't get me wrong. He's my favorite Celtic player ever, but enough is enough.

Forget the fact that he's basically been closing out games for the Celtics or at least keeping them close...nope, time to bench him and start Jeff Green, just because!  :D

Well, as long as we won I'm happy.....opposing teams see Boston on their callendar, and they play above themselves.

The team still has some issues, but I'll take the win.

We've surpassed last year's win total, however sloppy this game was.

Grateful for the win.

If your argument is that Jeff Green is a comparable player to Tony Allen, then I agree completely. Green is less spectacular (spectacularly good and spectacularly bad) and has better size.

He's a career 15-5 guy that shoots in the mid 40%s. He is not an elite offensive player and doesn't make much of an impact on defense.

He's not a bad player. He's a fine player. But from what I've seen he's not "THAT" good that I expect he'll be a difference-maker for the team. As I said, he's like a Marquis Daniels. A nice complimentary player who can occasionally make an impact but most of the time he won't make much of an impression.

I liked Marquis. I like Jeff Green. But he's not everything that some people say he is.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

A Love-less TWolves is actually a better defensive team.
