Yet, when the trade was made we were told it would really boost the offense, which is what was needed. Discuss.

Fans are starting to panic and give up on the team's chances, just like last year. Discuss.

We traded defense for offense and still can't score. Laughable.

I don't think people are on the whole giving up on the team. I just think there is a lot of frustration with elements coming to fruition that were noted but shot down at the time of the trade...

The Cs offense has always worked off their defensive prowess so it stands to reason that the offense would suffer when you make a move that seriously alters your defense.

Rondo's decison making lately has a lot to do with it. We were never a high scoring team to begin with it's not like a whole bunch of forced shots are getting tossed up the lack of ball movement and Rondo holding the ball at the top of the key has the offense stagnant I think it'll change though

i like rondo...don't want to trade him....but he has been doing a poor job getting into the offense the last month.

If you depend on a miracle every year, you will be disappointed. If you expect a huge midseason trade not to have an impact on the chemistry of your team and cause problems you will be disappointed. This looks and feels much different than last year.

This.

Plus getting Shaq back will fix a lot, I think.

looking at the bulls schedule..i see only 2 potential losses the rest of the way...vs boston and at orlando...boston is going to have to play flawless basketball to overtake them for hCA.

Last year wasn't a miracle. And when you say it feels different from last year I assume you mean better.

No. I mean a team with no dependable healthy center and a team shaken up big time with 27 games left in the season.

decidedly not better in terms of personnel. at the moment both the starting and bench units were better last season.

Rondo
Ray
PP
KG
Perk

Nate
TA
BBD
Sheed

Those units make way more sense in terms of what we do and what we need to be successful.

Oh. I don't think it was a huge shakeup, we traded Perk and not much else. It looks worse now because they're trying to get all of the new guys used to the system, but it's likely that Green and a few minutes a game from Krstic or Murphy will be about all we'll be seeing from all the new guys in the playoffs.
