I wanted my 5000th post to be something important. I can think of nothing more important than an expression of gratitude.

For all the posts I've made here, I've probably read at least 10 times as many. I've learned a lot, and laughed a lot more.

Thanks to everyone here who has helped make this one of the few sites I can come to for reasoned yet passionate discussion of my favorite sports team--and so much more.

This is truly a great community, and I feel privileged to be a part of it. Thank you, everyone.

Congrats Lucky, and from all of us in either of lucky's keeper fantasy bball leagues, thank you for putting the time in to run them, not often you can get 20 team fantasy leagues but you do a great job so thank you!
