It cracks me up how quickly people are to get the knives out to go after Rondo.  He's slumping, but he's going to be a big part of the quest for #18.

As I see it, we have two choices.  We can bash the heck out of him, or we can remember that he's a great young player who was consistently playing very good basketball as recently as a month ago.

You guys are acting like Delonte is going to see significant minutes. Whether you like it or not, Rondo is our starting point guard...that's not going to change.

Plus I'm not going to count on a guy that's been on the court for all of 8 games this season.

If Delonte is healthy, and rondo is playing like this, I think Doc wouldn't hesitate to close games with West. I know that's what I want to see. Delonte is the better overall talent, and his shooting makes defenses stay honest at the end of games when it's most important.

Now that Baby is back. I'm sure he can take a little bit more hooks and jabs.  ;)

Yeah, I guess we can all root for JO to get back soon so that he can resume his whipping boy role.

Come on, though...  Danny signed a big, dopey looking guy who has played poorly in Troy Murphy.  Can't he absorb some of the Rondo hate?  He's a tailor-made candidate. ;)

Exactly. I think he's just tired (also agreeing with what Irish Green said) and should sit. He's played a lot of minutes this season but he would never admit he's tired, Doc needs to see it and sit him.

There's no doubt that he's slumping. But this is the difference between Rondo and good/great point guards in the league right now: Williams, Paul, Rose, Westbrook, Nash, Kidd, etc. don't play a month's worth of basketball where they might as well have not shown up.

I don't think you would find one GM who thinks West is a better overall talent than Rondo.

Oh, come on now.  Delonte is the better shooter.  I love D. West, but he's not the "better overall talent".  He's an injury prone hustle player.

Delonte has no weaknesses on the court. Rondo has many. Overall I consider Delonte the better player overall. Rondo, when he's playing well, can do a few things great. West does everything well. I don't agree with you.

4 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists in the first half.  Well done, Perk.  Some of us know that you're not cooked.

Love Delonte...but you can't trust him to be healthy either...guy is more brittle than a wishbone.
