The bulls.... since Jordan have done nothing. This year I feel like the C's are the 89 pistons fighting off the upcoming bulls. The only problem is that the Bulls had to wait one more two more years to make the finals. This years team is good enough to put us away and the heat. I hate to admit that rose is the stud he is, but rondo is not going to stop him. Noah is going to out hustle everyone on our team, and boozer and KG are a draw. Pierce is not going to overtake deng. Ray can simply not be there at times. Seven game series with game seven in Chicago... Say goodnight Irene. I had really high hopes. Especially after the flurry of signings but the bulls still seem to have more fire in they're bellies. I hope I am wrong, but after 30 years of Celtics ball... the writing is on the wall. :P

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
haha.
You can't win a championship without a good, productive 2 guard.

you're dreaming pal.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

The key is health for the C's.  It always has been.  If the C's have at least a depth of:
Rondo, Ray, PP, KG, Shaq
Krstic, Green, BBD, Wafer, West, Arroyo with the leftover of JO, Murphy or Sasha (preferably JO and he IS supposed to be back by then  ::)  )

The C's beat every other team in the league.  I'd be far more positive of that prior to the rash of injuries leading up to the trades but I still think this is the team to beat if healthy.

Chicago just doesn't scare me.   I think Rondo will step up to offset Rose.  KG outdoes Boozer.  PP and Deng may work out to a wash but I think Noah will have his hands full with Shaq and Krstic.  Ray is better than any SG Chicago has.  The bench just puts the C's over the top because Chicago's not as deep or talented as the healthy C's bench

People are overrating the Bulls a bit too much. They have a nice core, but I'm thinking they're about 1-2 years away from being serious contenders. Their bench is pretty weak despite them playing well as of late. They'll definitely be there once they pick up a player that can shoot well. Ray Ray would have been perfect in that lineup.

I was going to retort to this, cause it sounds silly...but really, when was the last time a team won with a weak spot at that position?
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

They have to win something before they are the "team to beat"

Right now, they are a team having a really good regular season.

I said before the season started that the Bulls were the team that worried me most.  I still feel that way and they are playing great ball right now.  A very scary team.

Bulls are like the Philly team that made it to the finals with AI(rich man's  version). The thing is the east doesn't suck anymore. Best case scenario for the Bulls is ECF right now. They are too young and limited offensively right now.

I haven't posted in a while, but.....I had to for this!!!

There is a slight, very small, tiny, miniscule difference between the '11 Bulls & the '89 Bulls, I think his name started with an M??? was it Martin or Michael?.....last name James or Jordan? I can't quite remember, anyways.....

That's all I have to say!!!

They are too dependent on Rose, Boozer isn't known for stepping his game up in the playoffs and Deng is too inconsistent. They could reach the ECF but they would stop there in my opinion. Their biggest advantage will be Homecourt.
