Celtics Bloggers Chill Out!

I get that a lot of us are super passionate about our team and we want them to win every game but some of the knee jerk posts that are made on here are ridiculous.

"Get rid of KG"

"Trade Rondo he's rubbish"

Dudes can sometimes have poorer games than expected and it happens. Take comfort in the fact that we shot the ball terribly and still only lost by 5 points.

This is a new team especially in the second unit who is still learning the routine so relax and give them a bit of time to get it.

I don't think I've ever seen so many overreactions after a regular season game. Calm down, fellas. I'm sure they'll be quite fine.

Plenty of decent teams have lost to the Clippers this season.

The Celtics had crappy games against mediocre teams all the time last year.  At least in this game the Celtics didn't give up and actually tried at the end to make a game of it and come back.  The '10 Celtics would not have made that much of an effort.  So in that sense, this game was rather encouraging.

Every team has an off night fellas, don't make a big deal out of it.

I agree, but it goes both ways.

Any time anyone writes anything critical about anyone it gets labeled hate or there's just a ton of apologism.

Rondo is really inconsistent. Can't hit a jumper. Maybe we can do better.

Obviously a hater.

Tom doesn't scramble anymore. Seems distracted. Might be over the hill

You're a dumb hater.

Krstic doesn't play defense or bang in the post.

You're just overly emotionally attached to Perk and a hater.

No, actually, have you ever noticed a flood of these threads on a day when they're NOT playing? You only see these reactionary threads after an off game. Sure, criticism is fine, but knee-jerk reactions are just silly. Most of it is emotional so criticisms just can't be taken seriously.

Only reason why LA won was Mo, he goes hog wild in 'regular season' games against us. ::) This would be a sweep if it was a playoff series Mo would go 3/40. The good part of this game is that Arroyo looks to fit in very nicely so far...can't say the same for murphy yet though  :-\

Well yes. But that's true. They are reactionary.  Some reactionary threads are good though.  People should react to trends.
