During the first quarter before Jordan started getting all his dunks Mike Gorman mentioned that the C's really like Jordan as a player. I am assuming he has heard this from Danny. It makes a lot of sense, Jordan would be a great fit with Rondo.

Jordan has tons of potential IMO. The guy is a Tyson Chandler in the making. On hoopsworld it says that he is an UFA after this year, but how much do you think teams will offer him?

I have to believe he will get a Perk type contract. I would gladly offer him the full MLE if he would take it , but he can probably get a bit more. To bad because a Rondo, Green, Jordan core would be really fun to watch.

I really like DeAndre too, he'd be a good fit with Rondo... Sad thing is, we drafted JR Giddens before him.

It must be a new found attraction, since we had the opportunity to draft him and took Giddens instead.

In terms of value, yeah, I don't see any way he'd settle for a MLE deal.

I wonder if the cheap Clippers would pay more than MLE for him.

Maybe, maybe not.  If not them, someone else...

Was dumbfounded; but with Perk was not a priority.

Yea absolutely. He is fast in the open court and can jump through the roof. If he has a high motor and a good work ethic we should think about it.

I wonder if Baby would like living in LA?

I mentioned that in another post.. I wonder what DA saw in Giddens that he drafted him instead of deandre or CDR, 2 potential lottery picks who fell to the 2nd round..

So now, does the Celtics like deandre that much that they let him score 21 points?

It would be nice though if we can get him in the offseason, but hopefully at a cheap price or sign-and-trade (with BBD?)..

TP's for those who noted we could have drafted him isntead of Giddens.

Jordan was my pick and I was dumb founded that we would take Giddens over a 7 footer with exceptional athleticsim who would need time to mature - over JR Giddens - who also would need time to mature.

I really thought that Jordan was the ideal pick for us at that moment. I thought he had slipped and we could easily pack him away behind Perk and KG and let them develop him. WE didn't need to have him make any impact right away.

I didn't get it. How you would pass up a 7 footer with great athleticism?

I think no way the Clippers let him go, by the way.

Agreed. an athletic 7 footer drafted 35th? maybe its because his eyes are too cloe together?

Giddens. I would say most people were scratching their heads with that pick.

I think the Clippers will lock Jordan up and trade Kaman.

I've loved this guy all year. He could be scary in a line up consisting of Rondo, Jordan, and Green

Giddens was drafted Ainge made the mistake of drafting for a position of need rather than the best player available.

Jordan probably slipped because of the reasons that led some to project him as the next Patrick O'Bryant.

I seem to recall being disappointed that the Celtics didn't draft Luc Mbah a Moute and I think some people on this board wanted Mario Chalmers.
