If LeBron James was a team killer he wouldn't have led the Cavs to the heights they achieved. Let's not get all cocky when this was a team that was recently in first place in the East. We can speculate and mock all we want...but be wary. These guys aren't going to just roll over.

Lebron and Wade cannot coexist on the same team...

Wade is still young so I bet he's p---ed that lebron took the team away from him...he doesnt say it, but I bet you thats what he is thinking

Bosh is overrated, so basically its just 2 good players and the rest are cheerleaders

Wade is the same age Pierce was when the Big 3 came together. He only has a few more years at a dominant level. He was going to have to turn the team over to LeBron at one point.

He may be a team killer, but can you call that band in South Beach a "team"? My answer is "no".

I dislike Lebron the same way I dislike Dwight Howard. They're both physically gifted players, with elite skills, but they don't play to win, they play to be "Big". They're still young, though, and I guess they could learn how to win. Wade is a more likable player, but he's also a ballhog, and he doesn't always play hard on both sides of the court. And Bosh is a good offensive player, but mediocre on defense.

In my opinion, you can't build a team without a strong defensive concept. Even with lots of talent, the Heat are not a team... yet. Time will tell if they manage to build a real team. Not this year, though.

Agree 100%. They may say all the right things about sacrificing to make the team better. But their actions reflect that the Miami Heat is still a "I have my spotlight and you get yours on the next possession" cinema. You simply can't win by doing that. If their goal is public appeal and revenue generation, then they can keep on doing what they are doing. But hey, winning a championship will get plenty of public appeal and more than enough revenue  :P

The Heat are a top-5 defensive team in the league.

This morning on espn one of the talking heads said for the Heat to work Wade needs to take the Paxson/Kerr role to Lebrons MJ.  Does anybody really think Dwayne Wade signed up for this to be John Paxson?

Roleplayers? 

How are you going to get roleplayers even involved when 2.5 guys are taking 90% of the shots.  Mike Miller is a great shooter than can't even start to get into a groove because he's taking so few shots a game.

Only thing that fixes this team is a PG that tell Lebron/Wade I'm running things now and you'll get the ball when I give it to you.

He certainly is good for marketing and team finances but on the court he doesn't deliver the goods in games that matter.  What he is a regular season dynamite (lots of wins against meanliless teams)  and big game pyrite aka fool's gold. (loses to winning teams, swept in finals, quit on his team last year)  That being said he is a cash cow for any team that has in box revenues and TV time. 

I think Wade is a much better finisher when the game is on the line.   Look at the last few weeks and bricker LeBron has been trying to will his team to a win.  He is not a superb shooter and but often he over dribbles in isolation sets and is forced to chuck up a bad shot.   This isn't new he has always been that way.  Discerning fans have known this for years about him.  He totally lacks killer instinct and coasts on his athletic ability.  Oh, he produces stats galore but he doesn't deliver too often when games truly matter. 

I hope they flame and burn as a team.  Their preseason Hubris was too much for me.  Best example ever of looks good on paper but a few of us thought this very thing would happen.

He was able to be that guy on Cleveland, I don't see why he can't be that guy in Miami.
