I think many times people fail to understand how bigs deeply affect the team's defense. It's basketball, not 5 simultaneous 1x1 games.

Yeah, among other things, Rondo's defense relies upon the bigs defending the paint, so that he can gamble.  That's not even getting into our defense rotating / switching, etc.

Of course, if Williams is hitting three pointers over Rondo that's not the fault of the bigs, but a lot of other stuff can't be pointed solely at the PG position.
