I think he has better stats than those. They may exist on the internet but not on most free sites that people frequent, at least not the ones I've been to. I can remember one time he was talking about the fg% of players with KG contesting their shot compared to the average fg% of contested shots.
Oh, unquestionably. Those just seem to be the ones he refers to in interviews recently. I know for a fact that Synergy has the information that you are talking about. Synergy has every shot taken in the league broken down by play type and who was defending it. What you can then do is see how players rank on a ppp or % basis on either side of the ball.
One thing I like about Ainge is that he seems to give equal voice to all parties. His stats guy(Zarren), the brain doc, and actual scouts(Papile and his son and co.) all seem to get their voices heard and considered. Intelligence and diversity from an entire room of trustworthy minds is powerful stuff.
