I agree that this deep into the season it's unlikely that they fire Spoelstra, because Riley knows the Miami Hype Machine is not ready to win it all.

But what if they fire him and give the team to Jeff Van Gundy? I'd love to see him losing in the playoffs against the Bulls.

That would be amazing if they won it all and he still got fired.  How many times has that happened in history?

Regardless, I agree that he is walking on VERY think ice right now especially after the crying comments he made during the press conference following the game.

Like Mike Miller as a player; but he had some tough breaks that game. If I were him I would have been feeling like crap. He certainly has been hurting the Heat big time lately.

I think Pat waits til the off season and the cuts Erik and takes over. As for the players crying comment, he followed it by saying "it's not like our players are not trying." Maybe he was worried that the media was questioning their team's effort and just made a dumb statement? That's my take on it.

And talk about not facing adversity well. Crying... jeez.

Players are a reflection of their coach.  Look at the Patriots and the Jets or event he Celtics.  This is evident by the fact that the coach is off telling people the team is crying and Wade is off saying that this is what everyone wanted...this team is so mentally weak and every Celtic fan knows that Lebron is just by watching him play the C's in the post season.
