Okay here’s the deal. Our point guard Rajon Rondo is prone to the bad game. When he has one of these games, he looks really really bad. For whatever reason at times, he looks disengaged on defense and turns the ball over at an alarming rate.
I don’t think this happens too often but some posters here think it happens quite a bit more than I do. I want to figure out for myself if I am forgetting about more Bad Rondo games than I think I am so I am going to keep a running tally for the rest of the season of Good Rondo vs. Bad Rondo games.
After each game I will make a gut check call as to which Rondo we just saw. I will not rely on his stat line, only the memories that are still fresh from the game. After I post what I saw, posters will have until tip off of the next game to debate whether I made the right call. I might change my mind! Clearly this is VERY scientific.

There are 21 games left (22 including last night). A pretty good sample size to see what kind of player we really have. Hopefully this will clear some things up for myself and for others as well.
Some Definitions:
Good Rondo: great passer, aggressive slasher to the basket, aggressive but under control defender, difference making rebounder, takes care of the ball, intense competitor
Bad Rondo: lazy gambler of a defender, passive on offense, attempts the spectacular pass when the easy pass was also available, turnover prone
He does not have to hit on all of these characteristics on a given night but at least a couple.
**Keep in mind this thread is JUST FOR FUN!!! I know it isn’t everyone’s cup of tea seeing as it is very subjective. I also wont be offended if no one participates. I will update anyway!Okay for last nights game:
3/6/2011
Boston Celtics: 89
Milwaukee Bucks: 83
The verdict is in…
