tbh I have been impressed with nenad.
Would you give him more mins than JO?

If they are all near 100% (seems like a pipe-dream, but ya never know), I'd focus on Shaq to start games, Krstic to bridge the quarters, and JO to finish 'em. And Murphy to spread the floor or eat fouls.

That's one problem I'd love to have, figuring out who get's the most PT.

If JO is near 100%, Lacerte wins the Nobel Prize in medicine.

  • Rondo = Good
Shaq starts and plays the first 5-6 minutes of each half as well as the first 4 or 5 minutes of the 4th quarter.

Nenad plays with the second unit most of the rest of the time, logging around 20 minutes a game.

Jermaine plays spot minutes as necessary given defensive matchups or fouls.

In crunch time, play the lineup Doc has been going with lately (Rondo - Ray - Paul - Green - KG).

If they are truly healthy, Nenad is the odd man out for me in most scenarios. Jermaine could be awesome to defend Dwight and Nenad will be great to help out the offense if it is slumping and Shaq's clogging up Rondo's lanes.

man is this a pipe dream or what. My take would be Shaq as starting center (and will be part of the strong 5 lineup), Krstic (2nd team), Murphy (to act as KGs backup - not intending him to be used as a center), and JO for spot minutes.

That sounds about right.  I expect Krstic to play at least 20 minutes a game (that is, about as much as Perk did) through the playoffs, whether or not he starts.

From what I've seen to this point, I would definitely give Nenad more minutes than J.O., and I'd start Shaq. Probably like 22 minutes to Shaq, 16 to Krstic, and 10 to Jermaine, (as a guideline).

If JO is healthy, he splits time with Shaq.  He has more then enough offense but is superior on defense.  He could get out and defend the pick and roll.  The other two have shown inability to do that well.

If healthy  :-\
Shaq starts because of matchup issues, drawing fouls and having the benefit of playing with kg.  I'd give all three EQUAL minutes as they each add something different.  Jermaine is the best all around center, if healthy  :-\ , shaq can't hit ft so I assume its a close game he isn't playing.
Don't be surprised to see none of them in at end of games.  KG, Pierce, Ray, Rondo & Green

Shaq for his customary 20 minutes with the starters.  JO with the rest, with spot minutes for Krstic if there's foul trouble or a defensive gridlock we're trying to break.

Jermaine, if healthy, is going to be a lifesaver for our bench.  His defensive excellence allows Doc to get away with Troy Murphy at the 4 (if his jump-shooting picks up) and gives us our best defensive 5 with the starters against penetration oriented contenders like Miami, Chicago and San Antonio.

Hmm, some people think JO won't be back, others think he'll take minutes away from Krstic to the point of having Krstic glued to the bench.

Strange. : \

For now, I think Krstic has earned the right to backup Shaq in the playoffs. I'm optimistic JO will be back, but let him get on the court before we say he can take away significant minutes from anyone.

The premise of the OP is to assume that all three are healthy.
