His shooting has been reliable this season.

Much better from three, and the ft line than Rondo

I really like this signing for Danny and the Murphy one.

Pavlovic deal isn't to bad either.

good insurance. i figure he might play some minutes in the upcoming weeks as doc tries to limit the starters and get the bench unit up to snuff.

it's safe to say that if we see arroyo/pavlovic/murphy in the playoffs something has gone horribly wrong....

I like this signing a lot more than I thought I would have. He fills a hole and he is not bad for a 3rd string point guard. It is amazing that the Celtics only have 5 players left from last year's team.

Just really shows how week the Heat were and still pretty much are at the pg spot.  Thei opening night starter ends up being a 3rd stringer on our team.

I was afraid this would happen. I really dislike Arroyo. Just don't like him. But as a third string point guard, whatever.

What's your reason for hate against him?

I hated him until he signed with us.    This has to give us more a psychological edge against MIA.  We KNOW YOUR PLAYS lol.

Folks if you sign with a team before the playoffs your eligible for the playoffs.  That is the rule, right?  Makes us a deeper team.

Lol we already did know them before we got Arroyo.  Doc was using them in the practices leading up to the All Star game.

The guy is mediocre defensively, but without glaring weaknesses or tendencies to try to do too much. Shot the three better than any of the heatle players, too (as well as better than every Celtic but Ray).

25% better ft% than Rondo. What's not to like?

This move should be better for the regular season. Hopefully this means that Rondo doesn't have to play 40 minutes + every game until Delonte comes back.

I too have been hoping for this when Bibby signed with the Heat. He's a chucker. Let'em have him.

Give me Arroyo at point guard over Bibby, Nate, EHouse and our own AB. Far better handles than any of those guys, and that is what we need him for.
