Best part of pickup -- no more speculating about pickups.

Danny Ainge made this pickup 4 many reason. Besides being 3rd string PG, Carlos brings much more to the table (former Heat starting Point-Guard)  ;D

Will he be forgiven for being the '5th Heatle'? ;)

so assuming we have a fully healthy roster in the playoffs, who does not suit up? I go with Pavlovic, Wafer, and ? Can't decide on the 3rd guy. Bradley?
[/qu

If we have a fully healthy roster...then I say leave Wafer, Bradley and Krstic out of the playoffs rotation.

Bradley yes, but I would keep Kristic in, he's very useful, and you can never have too many big guys.

You'd said assuming a fully healthy team....so, Krstic won't be needed much. Shaq, JO, BBD and Murphy can play the five spot.

Krstic is better than Murphy.  He might even be better than JO.

I say: Bradley, Pavlovic, and Murphy will be in street clothes for the playoffs.

The way he's played so far, I understand not dressing Murphy, but I can't see that happening. Ainge would kill his reputation with agents around the league if they do that.

That makes sense, I can go with that lineup

Just don't know how much you are going to get out of the oneals...Murphy can play the four also.

Doc's got a title to go after.  That kind of thinking hopefully will not play into the roster and playing time decisions.

And have only one back up guard?  We finally have balance.  I don't think they'll choose to unbalance the roster on purpose to have a plethora of bigs on the end of the bench.

I doubt Krstic is behind Murphy in the rotation.

You're quoting it wrong, Celtics18...I didn't say Krstic is better than Murphy...you did. :P

Agreed on Arroyo and Bradley.

I would sit Pavlovic instead of Von Wafer though.

If Delonte is fully healthy, we don't need Bradley, Wafer, or Pavlovic to suit up.

Arroyo is a better PG than Bradley, and Wafer and Pavlovic are superfluous if West is available.

Although, Pavlovic could come in handy as a wing-stopper, depending on the opponent. Against NY and Miami, we might need Sasha's 6 fouls, in which case, I would deactivate Arroyo.
