I was still digesting BBD's injury when i read on nba.com that von wafer suffered a strained calf. Wow, it seems to me that we are cursed. We just can't get a break with injuries. It's getting ridiculous.

Darn you faker fans and your voodoo dolls

Wasn't there an update that said Wafer was supposed to come back from the locker room?
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

on the other hand, oklahoma city hasn't gotten much from our guys - perk is still out (2-3 weeks), and apparently nate just got his knee scoped and won't be back for 4-6 weeks.

I dont think we're cursed.

People on here and a lot of boston fans blow very minor injuries and strains way out of proportion.

Also the larger basketball media seems to say nothing about the C's except MORE INJURIES or WAS THE PERK TRADE GOOD/BAD?

Other teams probably get just as many of these niggles its just they aren't contenders so noone cares to report it.

how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck was chris bosh?

No, we are not cursed, no matter how many players get dinged up.

Lakers will probably be without DFish  for a while due to his tieup with Kwame Brown in the paint last night...Matt Barnes tweaked a nerve in his knee during warmups prior to the CHA game last night, so he will probably miss a few more games.

It's just a tough stretch for Boston right now. The blessing of it is that our core is remaining strong.

Ray Allen is what 25 years old? He sure is playing like it. KG has hovered around his 07-08 averages. Paul looks rejuvinated out there, as a another poster on here mentioned in a different thread.

We'll be fine. We get Shaq, Delonte, and Glen back next week. We get JO's shotblocking back before the playoffs. Our opponents have forgotten about him, but he will be reminding them of what he brings to Boston here in a few weeks.

Plus - notice how banged up we were last year? And then all of a sudden we pretty much stayed healthy all the way up until Perk went down in June?

We'll be fine - except this time if we lose a Big we'll have more reinforcements.

And did I mention that we have won 6 out of 7? All the while Doc is trying to get the new guys acclimated?
