Jessica Camerato was interviewed briefly during the game tonight and said that Jeff Green picked the locker right next to KG. She said that Green was shocked that the locker was still available after Harongody was traded. Green said that KG is so intense and so determined and Green wants that intensity to rub off on him.

These are the kind of things that are really going to turn Green into a very solid piece to build around along with Rondo in the future. This kid has awesome offensive ability, especially at the SF position and is very athletic, which should translate to him becoming a very good defender with KG and PP in his ear.

I am really loving the potential he has and is starting to show!

From some of his recent comments, it seems like Jeff really admires KG and wants to learn from him. I like that dedication to not only wanting to improve as a player, but as a leader as well. I like that a lot.

+1 That is the kind of dedication we need. KG can really help this kids development. I am a big believer that he wasn't being used properly in OKC, and should thrive when he gets used to being a Celtic

On this roster we have 4 of the greatest scorers in Nba history. PP, Ray, KG and Shaq. And what did we get out of that as far as offense? we among elite teams, even while we shoot a very very high percentage, we struggle to score. Go ahead and talk about the fact Shaq hasn't played enough. Hey we had the other 3 and weren't an elite offensive team the last 2-3 years.

WE need to spread the floor. Perk and Rondo's offensive liabilities have been causeing us trouble and this move helped. Needless to say since so many fans never pay attention like a coach would, Krstic being more than serviceable is a shock to famous posters here, but not to Frank, Doc or Danny

Not everybody. As pointed out above, Green wasn't used properly in the OKC two-man game, and it obviously wasn't a showcase for what Curly can do. I see absolutely no reason not to love the trade and the changes.

I think Green has all star potential. Not 10 time all star potential, but he could definitely sneak on more than a couple all-star teams.

Become Legendary.

Great post. I was thinking the same thing watching the game tonight. Green has all the tools. All he needs is time on the court with the starters. Uber athletic and a good offense player. We havnt had a guy like Green for quite a while. He reminds me of Reggie Lewis early in his career. Danny hit a home run with the thunder trade.

Green can definitely be a 7 to 8 time all star for the c's. Let's get him, monta ellis, and blake griffin when the big 3 are done

Oh, that would be an all-time defensive team for sure.

In all seriousness though, love Griffin's game. Don't think he would ever come to Boston though.

It also means he's not intimidated by his bark.  Somehow I don't expect we'll see Green crying about something KG says to him.

A Rondo, Green, Howard core would be much better defensively.

Green doesnt only seem the type of player that will put in everything he has to listen and learn from Garnett, he seems like the type of player that KG will love taking under his wing and teaching the ways of the game. Very exciting.

Nice!  Maybe he'll convince KG to resign for another year for cheap!  Or free!  :o

I agree. His game can be a lot like a cross between a more athletic stephen jackson and less active gerald wallace
